I have no real insight into Pakistan's military, but they're a lot more active than Arab militaries. Pakistan is one of the largest, if not the largest contributors of soldiers to UN peacekeeping missions.

I'd also assume that Malaysia has a better military than Pakistan, and Iran, Turkey, and Indonesia would be reasonably comparable to them too.

I said better, not stronger. Better training, equipment, organisation, competency. The countries I mentioned have wildly different populations.

Their training is world-class. Saudis hire Pakistanis to train their forces. Pakistani military strategy is probably the best in the world, if you googled anywhere in the last few years "#1 leader of a military" Pakistan's Raheel Sharif's name would almost always be in the top 3. And he was chosen as the leader for the "Islamic military alliance"

Pakistan produces its own fighter jets at home, and has a higher defense budget. And they have nukes.
