regulations were removed from the 1934 NFA what would you see becoming the newest "AR-15" ? Personally I would like to have a semi-auto MP-7 or a semi-auto P90
If the SBS and SBR
>what would you see becoming the newest "AR-15"
10.1/14.5 inch barrel AR-15.
yeah because everyone will pay the price for an mp-7. Tons of people already bitched about the price of the sp5k.
This, unfortunately.
I'd love to see tiny TMP/VZ61-esque PDWs take off.
Why, though? It is primarily controllability and armor defeating that makes PDWs valuable. With no "pistol" APs/full auto, they just become another low caliber plinkster. While fun, for any real defensive scenario, I'd upscale the gun.
Well think about them as trapline walking guns and how compact they are for daily carry (MP-7 is bigger than a standard service pistol but not by a whole lot) and they can be more accurate. The lack of full auto functionality is to strike them from the NFA registry. They would be good for a lot of really fun plinking too. I think it would also get the ball rolling on new weapon design implements.
Sure. No, that's sensible. I think the it makes a great example of why we need to strike the whole braindead NFA from the books. I'd be so down for a full auto MP7.
Wouldn't we all user. But I would be just as happy with a semi-auto only MP-7 or just as compact PDW design
Supressed SBR / Honeybadger builds.
Naw, cans are still NFA in the OP hypothetical and people dont want to pay/wait for them. This user had it right....just every day ar's with a few inches cut off the barrel.
having shot the PS90 I feel that AR's would still remain popular. Main thing that would rise in popularity again would be AK's due to cheap imports due to no niggerliberal restrictions
Can you shoot a MP7 with one hand?
Well I don't see how you couldn't in semi-auto mode. It would be even easier if the stock was already extended.
Yeah I could see those being more popular for awhile. But eventually things would go to PDW sized weapons and cartridges.
Okay everybody if you had the choice of ONLY a handgun (due to space and weight constraints) for an immediate bail out weapon or a semi-auto only PDW (with can/without can up to you and your state's regs) which would you rather have a weapon like the MP-7 or a glock 9mm (not knowing what kinds of threats you would be facing or shits you may be forced to take) ? Personally I'd take the MP-7
13” aug.
>the muzzle is at the same position as the tip of the gas regulator.
The whole package is 608mm long.
Do you mean the length with the stock collapsed or extended?
>13" aug
>stock collapsed or extended?
Mods just need to start deleting posts this stupid and giving the posters a 24 hour temp ban so they can think about how to google something before they start posting.
Dude you're losing your shit because I asked you to clarify what you were saying.
Holy fuck he asked a simple question you autistic fuck. God damn please go kill yourself
You really need to learn how to use the Google machine.
Someone take away this sperg's weapons before he hurts someone
Ctrl+T, type AUG, acquire knowledge. It would've been faster than typing out that post and solving a captcha.
>they call him a sperg
>they don't even know what an Aug is
this is going to be a long summer
Samefag
open bolt machine guns would come back in style
like you wouldn't believe
Stens and sterling styles would be the rave.
Have some more (You)'s.
I know what an Aug is if you're meaning the bullpup. I thought you were comparing the MP 7 to an AUG
Nothing would really become the new AR, I don't think. It's too established and there's too much sperg in the gun community against "muh good nuff raifu" to even begin seeking that anytime soon. Though I think is on the right track on possibly seeing new design routes getting more exploration and play
I'd sacrifice all of the things to see pic related chambered in something like 7.5 Fk Brno.
It would still be AR’s
MP7’s are not that small and are trash without full auto
>James Yeager here with tactical response
the ar would become the new ar, because a full auto ar is still better.
tiny smgs like mac and uzi would make a serious comeback though
It would probably be a shit ton of short ARs but I would scorpion evo all day every day
The MP7 is only viable in full auto, the cartridge is anemic otherwise. One chambered in 9 would be neat, although it would sort of defeat the purpose and turn into an MP5K.
Realistically, I doubt anything substantial would change. The norm would probably just be ARs with slightly shorter barrels. The US military M4 carbine is 14.5 inches anyway.
I think you mean it'd turn into a lame ass MP9.
>samefag
>doesn't even know what an aug is
what the fuck, I thought school was back in session by now
PDW's would become a lot more viable because of the ability to get rid of bulky braces and having VFG on very short guns would make them infinitely more usable.
Shotguns would become more popular, a folding stock on a 10" barrel 870 would be very compact for the firepower it offers.
Assuming society is still functioning as normal the Glock. Otherwise I'd take the MP7 (though I'd prefer the p90/ps90.
