I bought the official line for years. Events in recent years have led me to conclude that official story was horseshit. As are, I've come to believe, most "official" stories.

There is so much wrong with this one question that I don't even know where to start. Even in the Fed's reports there were no recovered full auto weapons. Regardless of who shot first, the "convoys" of Feds were in an active stand off with the cult they weren't just driving around between posts acting innocent when the gunfire started. And yes, it IS excessive use of force. There were known non-combatants in the compund, including a large number of children. Again, regardless of who started the fire, shooting at EVERYONE seen fleeing a burning building is absolutely unacceptable behavior. The compound should have been handled as a hostage situation once things turned into a seige. Instead The ATF and FBI tried to negotiate the same way Alpha Group does.
