I only have personal experience with the ODIN Mk.III which is what I recommend. You really don't need a pad under a mininmalist belt since it never rides over the top of your belt loops so it doesn't (usually) chafe. The only downside to a two piece belt is in tintense physical activities such as dragging casualties the outer belt can separate from the Velcro inner belt.

Im rebuilding my battle belt, selling my small woodland HSGI slim grip belt and getting a medium Multicam slim grip to match the rest of my kit.

Need some advice on mag carriers. I currently have 2 double stack (pistol/rifle) tacos. They are ok, but one gripe I have is if I want to put a rifle magazine back into the taco, its a pain, does not go in easy. Maybe im just doing it wrong.

What do you guys recomend? Keep the tacos or sell them and try something else? I see a lot of people do kydex carriers on their battle belts.

Two pouches deep, generally speaking, although the least possible is beter.

Awsbelt owner here. I'm real smitten with mine. I find that if I dont cinch it down really well on my waste the area next to my buckle tends to not adhere as well to the velcro when I'm larperating hard. The inner/outer belts are really well made and their rip off taco pouches aren't to bad either.

Currently trying to decide between awsin rifle mag pouches or some kywis for my belt. I'm tired of my hypalon shit from strike industries as useful as it is.

I personally like one rifle and two pistol on my belt with no stacking to minimize snagging on stuff and overall circumference. You already have experience with how stacked mags work for whatever you are doing, so if you are happy with that, then continue doing it.

The adventure tech ones? That's totally different than the standard issue one (which is relatively cheap and can be tailored). The adventure tech one is more expensive both because of the goretex and because it's associated with SEALs OLDGEN, etc. I got lucky with mine at a swap meet. I can't decide if I should sell mine now for a quick profit, wait until this winter to sell for even more profit, or just hang onto it. That said they're cheaper than they've ever been recently because someone dumped a whole bunch on the market within the last few years. Someone must have cleaned out a government warehouse.
