So the Stag-10 is a NR AR-10 receiver right? Would I hypothetically be able to make an AR-10 in .243 Win? I'm pretty sure .308 mags can take .243

If you can zero the gun it's not an issue, merely cosmetic my ak is slightly wanted but I was able to zero without having to crank the front site all the way to one one side and I can consistently get 2-3moa. But if it really triggers your autism, you can knock out the front pins, adjust your sight so it's centered, and drill it for over sized pins, cause if you move the sight and put the old pins back in you'll just move the sight back to its canted position, and you can't drill too oversized cause they dont give you alot of meat, to make sure it's centered you just put it in a vice, and make sure the gun is complete level, then put the front sight between two square rules and adjust till there's equal space on either side. Honestly unless it's super canted it's more trouble than it's worth.

I did my PAL test at the Calgary Shooting Center and I know they offered an RPAL class the day after, but I couldn't attend cause I work a weird shift schedule.

My Glock cost about as much as my AR15, but I've certainly spent a lot less on 9mm than I have .223.

Sorry, I should clarify that my AR is an M&P 15, for like $650, which to me is a pretty decent price. What I'm getting at is you can get some pretty solid hand guns for a good price, if not cheaper. But yeah there's also lots of cheaper options too.

I'm only going to have time to buy one before C71 is given the final reading (last I checked, someone said end of September or something) and I want to know if I should get a Stag 10 or an RDB first. I want both of them at some point, but I'm not sure what to get first before C71.

Also, do any of you have highschool age children or siblings? My sister came home today with her timetable and told me she's taking a course called "Social Justice" that has replaced Social Studies 11. The other two choices were Native History and Politics. If it's for personal use, make it and decide for yourself. If it's for sale lol. Personally the hold open on both the tok and m57 is fine, even in 2 guns with little tokerev and big tokerev, there's no problems with the hold open. Also make sure you make the hold open softer than the slide, it's cheaper to replace the hold open.

Feels great in the hand, recoils very lightly. Also very reasonably priced, and very underrated. Lack of after market though. Also those triangle sights i think they work.

Their k31s are boomer prices. 800 and up, not worth it unless you like k31s. I've been considered a k11 for a while now, but i know nothing about it.

You will need an action wrench and a proper vice and shit. It's not as easy as putting together an AR but it's not too hard. I've built one with a friend, ask me anything.

That's too bad- it looks like they sold out the cheaper part of the batch. The K11 is the older model of the design- the action isn't as strong and it's much longer. Not a bad rifle overall, but not quite as nice as the K31.

k11 is fairly different. Like yes it's a shmith rubin, but it's a differently designed receiver shorter, etc. The barrel isn't free floated, it has an aluminum barrel jacket, so it isn't as accurate. And the aluminum jacket actually fucks with the barrel harmonics cos it heats and cools differently. I wish i hadn't missed k31s and i'm probably gonna be paying some boomer for one one of these days.

Just get the STAG reciever set, it's cheaper. RDB from all i've heard is a whatever gun.

BM59 kits go for sale sometimes, for less than garand kits. BM59s where made with m1 receivers. You could totally write some fiction based around making a bm59 using an M1 garand receiver, with a minimill. The plans are available online for reference in case you decide to write that fanfiction.

T97 is an actual military rifle so not a meme, I'd go T97 Gen 2 all day over the fucky WK, Gen 2 has M4 feed ramps so the main issue of feeding has been fixed.

T97 Gen2 is a legit gud gun. Ambi mag release, enlarged controls, M4 Feed ramps, better springs etc

The Gen1 is good for other reasons like a e s t h e t i c s and if you're willing to spend some cash there's an aftermarket ambi mag release for it too.

You don’t know shit about Swiss rifles. The K11 doesn’t have an “aluminum barrel jacket” it has a small collar just under the nosecap to ensure warpage of the stock does not mess with barrel tension. The barrel floats behind it until the reciever. The barrel should have constant downwards pressure.

The K31 is also floating until the nosecap however it doesn’t have the aluminum collar as it is not fully floating. The nosecap controls the tension of the stock which resets the barrel after vibration when firing. There was no issue with cooling.
