How much of this is truth and how much of it is conjecture?

>1.It will disrupt vital military relationships.
Do they suddenly think the military is inept to adapt? LMAO

>2.It will create new barriers to joint force integration.
Literally the same point as above

>3.It will lack the resources to be a co-equal service.
Literally the same point as above

>4.It will be too dependent on industry.
Oh no it's retarded, it thinks we can't compete against the civilian market.

>5.It will drain resources from more productive pursuits
There's more pointless liberal pursuits than I can care to google.

>6.It will replicate capabilities already resident elsewhere.
So in other words again, trying to say we can't compete against the civilian market when it comes to working.

>7.It will spawn yet another sprawling bureaucracy.
LMAO

>8.It will reduce incentives for other services to support space.
Quite literally the opposite. It's going to expand our reach.

>9.It will be defenseless without the help of other services.
Just like every other branch of the military, when separated it becomes weakened. Literally not an argument.
>10.It will make the world's best air force less effective.
Literally the opposite with even more guns in the sky that don't require constant re fueling and landing.

Overall 3/10. Not a single valid good point made and any opinion from a POG about the military is immediately discarded. Including mine.

(((Forbes)))

There are too many layers of retardation in this article to even bother arguing with beyond "lmao retards"

and also WE GOT TO DEFEND AGAINST THE ATTACK OF THE AYY-LMAO'S!!!

first post always best post

Yet shoving our dicks in the sandbox for absolutely 0 gain doesn't weaken America.

>How much of this is truth and how much of it is conjecture?

It's complete neo-liberal swill. The only reason they are even mad is that Trump is pushing the idea. If Obama had done (((Forbes))) would tripping over their collective dick to support it.

What a stupid fucking article. This sounds like what someone would have said when they were formally separating the army air corp into a scary "new branch" called the airforce

>forbes
You know what they say, FPBP.

>it will weaken other branches
Fucking how, only the USAF and USN may get dinged, mainly USAF. It's not like the USMC and Army are known for having lots of space programs. Also the USN is really the only potentially independant branch, since the USMC somewhat falls under their umbrella and they have their own potent air arm.

If they play their cards right, we can have the first, second, *and* third strongest air forces on the planet. Why even let other countries stand on the pedestal?

>devoting resources to a militarized aircraft division will be a waste of resources. We should just devote more resources to artillery and human wave attacks.

Rest of the world:
>What is America's deal with military and guns?
>ahhhhh, America, please help!
>phew, that was close, but seriously, what is thw deal with America and its military anyways?

Space Force will never happen because they’d have to come up with a brand new “Hoo-“ grunt for them, and no one is autistic enough to withstand the cringe of trying it make a new one

Forbes a bunch of stupid retards, were going to space baby!

>people not realizing this is just a front to maneuver some of the military budget into scientific research while trump drums up more publicity by looking insane

pretty cunning. hard to tell if hes a mad genius or what.

This always make me laugh when (((leftists))) pretend to care about spending.
>tfw over 65% of ALL (mandatory and discretionary) tax dollars are spent on unconstitutional gibs (entitlements)

A lot of people are weirdly opposed to doing stuff in space anyway. They see it as a waste of resources, and that we should "try to fix our problems here before we fuck around out there" kind of thing. Extremely short sighted imo

Does this douche canoe realize the Air Force split from the Army after WWII? For the explicit purpose of having a consolidated chain of command for a specialized branch? Even Forbes has fallen off the wagon.

The incorporation of spacecraft into the military isn't the nevabeendunbefoah brilliant plan of the stable genius. Spacecraft have been an integral part of the military for decades. The important thing is understanding that space flight and the way in which you use space to your advantage is not going to be like an airforce any more than you are going to have an airforce act like a navy.

We didn't have zepplins acting like battleships and cruisers. Spacecraft will not act like an airforce. The concept of a space force is fundamentally flawed.

>The concept of a space force is fundamentally flawed.

YOUR concept of what the SF will be is flawed.

No one in the government or pentagon has ever said anything about Space Battleships or such bullshit, you’re just incapable of separating memes you see on the internet and actual proposals.

Newt Gingrich was a fat faggot and wanted to do this
that's the only reason it sucks
space is already militarized anyway

>meckjeb

A man of culture I see

>Militarized
>no country is legally allowed to colonize a whole planet
Fuck this gay shit.

>Legally

Fuck the UN

You are out of your damn mind if you believe that our government is doing anything other than sucking globalist UN cock. And it will be even worse when whites are a minority in their own country.

>Implying the willpower is there

>Space force
>not orbit force
when the fuck are we gonna leave orbit?
>inb4 Mars
Mars is a meme, Venusian clouds are way easier to colonize

>What is the Asteroid Belt

It's all about mining

mine what?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asteroid_mining

iriduim is pretty viable

The US constantly upstages the UN, what are you talking about?

>A lot of people are weirdly opposed to doing stuff in space anyway. They see it as a waste of resources, and that we should "try to fix our problems here before we fuck around out there" kind of thing. Extremely short sighted imo

Well it's really not that new. There's always been a lot of 'grounders' out there that are just adverse to space exportation. Even in the height of the space races there was a certain segment of a certain demographic of the population that were wanting to shut it all down. They even made songs about it, see the video at the end of my post. And in modern terms the fact that Trump proposed it is all the more reason for them to screech against it.

Personally, I think the very existence of those retards is a good enough reason to go to space and never come back. Fuck them.

>Armfat spilling past your elbows

The more things change, the more things stay the same.

The best part is I'm sure that if you did enough digging you could find some article from the 20s that says just that.

I didn't know it was possible for a word to be verbose.

The martians from the War of the Worlds novel would call “Uuu-Laah” during their attacks. The Spacial Forces should use that.

Hoolah, huh?

Well, it’s not unbearable.

>it's real

Paine stood coatless under a cloudy sky, accompanied only by NASA's press officer, as Abernathy approached with his party, marching slowly and singing "We Shall Overcome." Several mules were in the lead, as symbols of rural poverty. Abernathy then gave a short speech. He deplored the condition of the nation's poor, declaring that one-fifth of the nation lacked adequate food, clothing, shelter, and medical care. In the face of such suffering, he asserted that space flight represented an inhuman priority. He urged that its funds be spent to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, tend the sick, and house the homeless.

history.nasa.gov/SP-4221/ch4.htm

Because we're constantly told we can't spare anything more for border security or education or veterans or welfare, or it's too costly to even fund our civilian space and science programs to do anything meaningful. Taxes are breaking the average worker's back even after all the cuts. But tell Washington you can give them new toys that nobody else has yet, and they'll trip over themselves to say we can't survive another day without them.

I think it's redundant right now. Get NASA to Mars first, then we can worry about shipping guns to the colonists so they can use them to rebel against us later. In the age of nukes and Ahkmed Shoebomber, a space weapon doesn't give us any measurable edge against an opponent who necessitates it.

>And in modern terms the fact that Trump proposed it is all the more reason for them to screech against it.
Trump's a businessman, not a soldier. He's not even an officer. I hate to imagine what his action movie idea of a Space Force is.

Attached: tumblr_msguofBRCX1qkqgkeo1_1280.jpg (1168x1576, 354K)

Has anyone actually talked about weapons in orbit? I thought this was just putting all of our current space programs under one roof.

Attached: DgJFCHtWsAIqBRK.jpg (720x582, 43K)

The Secretary of the Air Force announced her support for the Space Force earlier today. A Space Force is all but certain at this point.
spacenews.com/air-force-secretary-affirms-support-for-space-force/

Not really.

The 2020 Military budget (the one that will bring the Space Force up for approval) will almost certainly be shot down by Congress.

To be fair, point 9 IS an argument. It's just not unique to space force.

For what it's worth, I feel that spaceforce is a bit premature. I don't see a reason to split space out from the airforce *YET*. We just don't do enough. But with launch prices coming down and new technology coming online (Falcon now, Skylon soon), space could come in to high enough demand that we want a dedicated branch for it. Just not in the next 10 years.

Until we're big enough to HAVE guns in orbit (banned by treaty, remember) all of our space programs are small enough to fit in the Air Force.

The key is getting the Military Industrial complex inserting taxpayer money to colonizing space instead of trying to fund a litoral combat napkin that melts when exposed to sunlight ot a cool gun that's never going to see the light of day due to the logistics behind replacing the M-14 or 50 dollar rolls of mil-certified toiletpaper.

>gibs me dat fo' free

>The more things change, the more things stay the same.

Yeah while Fatty cries about being poor hard working whites in West Virginia work to dig out coal to power her section 8 housing.

Shit, I'm not even saying that life isn't bad for blacks. Or that they're isn't some problems with how they're treated. But the problem is is that activist that screech about it are the most of the most actually privates mother fuckers in America. And by even mentioning that shit you get instantly slandered as a KKK robe wearing fuck-wad.

Attached: White Privilege.jpg (526x526, 50K)

>We just don't do enough.
We do more with space than any other country on the planet, yet all the runner ups, Russia and China, both have dedicated Space branches.

So the US got conquered by Mexicans and now they're trying to escape into space??? LOL'd fucking hard!

>What amerishits actually believe

More like America is tired of being the bouncer for the world. So we're just going to build Elysium and let the shit skins and the Chinese eat Europe.

Enjoy being replaced by a lot of IQ 80 retards from all over the 3rd world. Mind the orbital ICBMs platforms pointed dirt side.

>So we're just going to build Elysium
LOL'd. Are you a multi-billionaire? Only those will be able to escape to a place like that. You, on the other hand, will have to live in a mexican shithole that will be the US (and many places already are).

Lol was watching Neil degrasse tyson on the Joe Rogan experience and black science man is super anti grounder

Whites gradually got bigger and smarter because a series of reasons.
Everyone who's not white will in the future be white when they eventually live indoors enough that their own bodies mutate away from high melanin. Will they ever become as smart as whites? Maybe, after living in a more civilized world for long enough.
Don't worry friend. The future IS white.

He wants it to be a Space Guard

and who do you think is going to run and maintain the station?

Why the fuck is FORBES, a FINANCIAL WEALTH newspaper, mad about defense spending?

The dude even runs Lexington Institute, a DEFENSE SPENDING policy think tank. I think he's just upset that the M1 Abrams will be a hovertank on Mars.

not him, but the answer is robots.

It’s almost like a financial spending organization would be worried about financial spending...

Who is going to operate and maintain the robots?

it's robots all the way down.

Why even have people then?

Well, do you want a megalomaniac controlling the world's largest supply of the world's most important resource? Even if that megalomaniac maintains his sphere of influence by supporting anti-western pursuits?

The idea of the space force isn't to weaponize space or space craft. It's largely meant as a cyber warfare and extreme altitude aircraft/satellite oriented branch. The actual space force will be parts of the air force that already exist broken off into their own branch, not creating a branch from the ground up

>LOL'd. Are you a multi-billionaire?
Yes, I'm a multibillionaire that shit posts on Jow Forums.
And I also have a great investment opportunity to share with you.

Attached: th.jpg (230x160, 8K)

But that picture is literally true
After all, we're the only global super power

Big if true

The future will be white but not for any of those reasons

Attached: 1495462148659.jpg (640x640, 108K)

Those are pretty much all true, the only question is “how long will these problems be problems”

I know this is gonna be unpopular, but as whites are becoming a minority, less and less of that upstaging will happen.

Also >implying that the pendulum swinging left, wont revert us back to apologizing for existing.

>if they knew how bad things really are
That photo always gets me.

I feel the need to point out that at the height of NASA's Apollo Programme in 1969 which peaked with the Apollo 11 moon landing, approximate budgets were thus:

NASA (total): 4,251 million USD
Welfare (total): 143,045.8 million USD
of which "Child Nutrition" alone accounts for 895.6 million; or over a fifth of the ENTIRE NASA BUDGET THAT YEAR

Granted, that sheboon somewhat has a point since a category in tables listed as "Public aid: Other" accounts for only 1.686.1 million USD, however given the vast amounts of healthcare and other assistance programmes out there not only listed in the Social Welfare Expenditures figures but also stuff like charities and random people giving food to others who are needy, the final value attained by "the hungry" likely beats the NASA budget.

This is also visible in the sheer amount of arm fat that humongous female has alone, she's not starving but for some reason wants to play the pity card anyway.

tl;dr welfare has always outclassed NASA spending and it's still a scam

>forbes

War... war never changes. Neither do niggers.

Attached: AndThat'sTheWayItIs.jpg (1067x653, 154K)

And I'd also point out that the kind of leftist human garbage that screech about US military expenditures... It's only about 16% of the US budget.

Attached: total_spending_pie,__2015_enacted.png (1003x915, 146K)

They complained about that pretty loudly when it was Bush, but when Obama got involved in Libya and Syria it suddenly was all about taking down the evil dictator. Granted, the degree of involvement and the related expenditure in blood and treasure is far lower, at least for us, but the results have been similarly useless and negative. Libya is now a failed state and Syria hasn't been removed from the Russian sphere of influence and has cost us politically.

>not putting the building blocks in place for when you actually need to move in this direction in the future

imagine if some cunt back around the turn of the millenium went about crying about building ports and looking into naval combat was a waste of time because it diverted funding from sword production

Atlas does what falcon does better and soon cheaper

>Trump's a businessman, not a soldier. He's not even an officer.
We haven't had a veteran president since JFK, yet most of them did an alright job of managing the military through the Cold War. The President isn't usually an expert in most of he does, that's why he has advisors. Ad hominem doesn't work here.

The only thing the treaties banned are strategic weapons(ie nukes) in orbit, everything else is a-ok, hence why we didn't bitch aboit it when Russia sent up space stations with autocannons

>We haven't had a veteran president since JFK
What's your definition of "veteran"

Based and redpilled, OP
