I’m on the fence about the plum furniture I have. It’s not really bright. Just feel kinda weird running it when all my shit is multi cam.

AKs just generally look like shit with aftermarket stuff thrown onto them, and so do a lot of ARs.
Yours is a pretty light offender compared to a lot of them IMO. You've done a pretty good job not having a mismatch fest of optics, off-color stock sets, and out of place & mismatching the rest of the rifle bakelite mags.
IMO the best looking ones are completely stock slr/sgl rifles with laminate wood, or poly folder stocks and an ak-74 style fsb/brake. And maybe a matching slav looking optic like pic related.
But you may as well give up because you don't have much room for improvement. But there's a thing or two that might improve it a bit.
The first thing I'd do is change out that scratched up goofy upper handguard with one in good shape. And I think longer muzzle brakes in general tend to improve the looks of 16" models. A 74 style brake would probably look really good on your gun.

Slant brakes do absolutely nothing for Semi-auto guns. They're made to bounce the gun low and left. You don't have that problem with Semi-auto AKs.

I'm keeping the lower hg and throwing an RK-6 and a BM-9 on it, and then I'll throw a G2X on the light mount when I get those. Upper HG... I dunno. I might get a black poly.
The brake is cheap and it works, I may get a 74 style down the line. Railz because of the things I mentioned in this post. I have several grips for it including a US Palm, as well as a different Magpul grip. This one is pretty alright so far desu. The rails on the sight are non removable, and I agree they look bad, and I'd take em off if I could. I kinda like the folder though, might as well use the AK's design advantage there.

OP, your gun looks pretty decent, but the glaring negative is your optic. Aftermarket US optics CAN look good, but yours is just too fucking big and sits too far back. Maybe try it pushed to the front of the rail, but it’s just so big that it gives the rifle an unbalanced look

I have a dozen mags I got for $5 apiece that have dings and dents that prevent the follower from moving freely. I’ve been windowing them to make them function.
Also, funny enough, you can take a surplus mag that costs $10, spend 5 minutes with a dremel on it, then sell it for $30 on AKfiles

The aesthetic is too split down the middle. Just get a Magpul grip or some shit or go back to trad ak. Also the scope mount isn't minimalist enough, get the rear biased one if that's where you want it to be mounted

Its probably the angle. Doesn't look that bad in person. I just can't push it further forward. Its where its at to get good eye relief. Also, the Kvar furniture is really thin and the cheek weld is miserable, which is why I added the cheek riser. Definately looking into getting some wood for it tho.

Bulgarian 4pc are super aesthetic to me. No idea why. Also if it just me or do magpul grips look weird on any AK if it isn't "tactical"? Just look odd on wood or traditional polymer AKs. Did you use the RD or DA adapter to mount the tube and stock?
