Hey Navy dudes,
1. Will ship life allow me to keep up a bodybuilding regime (nutrition, gym access) so I can get swole and joocy?
2. Do you have to do shitty 12 hour shifts like those guys who collided with the merchant cargo ships?
3. Will I have time and internet access for some reading and maybe an online course?

Attached: klokov-swimsuit.jpg (496x497, 46K)

Is couch to 5k enough for me to get back in shape from being jabba the hutt

if you change your diet too, then probably. it'll take longer than 9 weeks to go from jabba the hutt to fit, though

do you think Jabba the Hutt could do a 5k?

Maybe I don't know how slugmen work

You should get a job then, Jabba

I have a job, I'm just still a fat shit

44 on asvab how fucked am i in the army?

You’re retarded.

Do you fucking eat lead paint for breakfast?

Yeah but I mixed it with some of the stuff under the sink and then had a antifreeze chaser..is that bad?

you know whats funny tho for my city with the education my city gives i had a better score then what some people from my city had

than*

Fighting for sniveling, neurotic kikes who want you dead and your children raped by brown people is pathetic.

All of this depends on what kind of ship you’re on

How long does it take to be enlisted in the marines? The army has been bullshitting me for four months it’s fucking ridiculous. Only have one scar on my arm that needs to be waivered, other than that I’m good.

When I was younger I went to the eye doctors because I was faking being somewhat colorblind cause I was a little cunt and thought it was cool. So is that gonna be on my medical records at all?

I'm really thinking of enlisting in the army because I'm 19 a dishwasher and line cook at a bar.
I just work, smoke weed, and play video games for the past year and I'm stuck in this endless fucking loop and I'm tired of it anything but this.

Moral of the story is I'm scared that the doctor put something in the medical records about it and I dont want to ruin a lot of opportunities that are in the military.

Hello Muhammed.

Shouldn't this be fixed when you actually go and perform well on a eye exam? As long as you "lie" and say that there is nothing wrong and you do good on your visuals you should be fine.

*plus no one will know unless you for some reason give them access to your medical records.

how good are military barbers?

just do well on the color blind test and dont mention it. I fucked up and mentioned that I had a cat scan when I was 3 and MEPS has be looking in circles for medical records that dont exist when I didnt have to say shit. THEY DO NOT HAVE YOUR RECORDS, THEY HAVE TO GET YOU TO GET THEM SO JUST DONT MENTION IT.

Can I get plastic surgery abroad? Will they say anything or should I not mention it?

Is SF achievable or is it a pipedream like Jet Pilots?

There are no actual SF or Jet Pilots. Jow Forums isnt real either

gday fellas, i have a YOU session within the next few days for an ADF gap year, is there anything I should expect, know other than what they provide on the website?

cheers in advance

>Jow Forums isn't real either

oh shit man it all makes sense now

Only on a carrier

Work out every day and dont worry about the colorblindness. Anything on a non government medical record is unknown to the military unless you mention it. They administer a colorblind test at your MEPS and again at your training during medical indoc.
In the OP it mentions lying about medical is good because of that reason. Unless you say you have asthma (as example) they wont know unless you say something and have to get tests done. If you mention something than they will ask for you to get paperwork for it

Ask a navy CTN anything

I'm going down to Lackland in a few weeks for my buddy's graduation, I sent him all my personal info that they need to let me on base for the ceremony. Am I just send to walk on base when I get there or something? Or do I need to take a shuttle on base

Why would you want to burn holes in the sky and never see real combat when a superior form of air delivered munitions exists?

Attached: tumblr_nb8arsV1YD1skaxu8o1_1280.jpg (1280x850, 125K)

if you get shore duty you will have all the time in the world. if you go to a DDG or CG plan on doing 6 peoples job and never having any time to yourself to do anything but you can still work out before or after work if you still have energy. Cant speak on carrier life but I heard its a lot more relaxed.
As for internet access maybe if you work in admin or radio otherwise you will only get some time to send an email or two on deployment before someone else wants to use the computer.

the absolute worst possible. Dont have to worry because there is always a bunch of people not trained to cut hair that know how to do a really good job from experience outside of the military

Why are courses like LRSC and SFARTAETC only open to SF? Wouldn’t units like the rangers benefit from graduating them?

How would you go about becoming a Bradley crewman

19D or 11B

Flying helicopters is bad ass but they're dangerous as fuck and civ rotor pilots make dick compared to fixed wing.

Attached: wpd6loh-jpg[1].png (1280x716, 968K)

He'll probably give you some more instructions. They do this shit at Lackland like once a week so you would assume it's a streamlined process, but the AF is super good at being retarded. Most likely you'll just go through the main vistor's center and get a paper day pass.

Anyway, get him shit faced and push him into the river walk.

Do they offer it to you once you hit a certain rank or do they pick you randomly

None of what you said is true. Just because they don't have ejection seats doesn't make them dangerous as fuck. Commercial fixed wing pilots make garbage, my buddies were starting out at the airlines making less thank 20k a year. Overseas contract work can bring in 6 figures for rotary.

Kek, no. Its not rank specific, it's MOS specific to a degree. 19D might have brads if they're a cav squadron or you could end up attached to a different unit without them. 11B will have them if the unit is mechanized.

Tim Kennedy is a quiet professional but also one of the most obnoxious caricatures

I do not understand

They're dangerous because they fly lower and slower in a combat zone than any fixed wing. As far as salary, you can't compare what a CFI at some small town FBO would make to a contractor in Kuwait. A fucking pallet pusher can make 100K overseas because it's in a shitty location. I'm talking an actual job that doesn't suck. Compare average commercial helicopter pilots to fixed wing salaries. You'll see the difference.

Stop eating massive amounts of sugars and simple carbs

How long ya been a CTN and are ya gonna reenlist

Hes a complete tool but hes in god tier shape so he made it through

Eh I think it's more based on the work type for commercial pilots. You can make 6 figures doing aerial application. Corporate jet pilots aren't making over 100k, neither are airline pilots until they've put in a lot of time. The rotary wing work is there, it's just a lot more niche.

>joining the military and being scared of deployin to a warzone

Attached: 1525917302915.png (471x411, 113K)

Kike pretends he can't read: the post

What do you mean

Literally every thread someone has to explain to some highschool grad the process of becoming a green beret

And being a Jet Pilot literally is just as easy as being a non-retard in ROTC

How does one fix their sleep schedule in preparation for basic? Should I just keep forcing myself awake at 5 and getting my body to adapt that way? Going back 15 minutes a day or whatever sounds gay

Just go to bed at 9 then wake up at 430 for a couple weeks nigga it aint hard

I tried, my body literally won't sleep. No caffeine, electronics, light, or anything and I just can't. It's like if I told you to go to bed at 3 in the afternoon and be asleep before 4

Holy fuck the retardedness of the airforce.

Just sat through a fucking brief about how Bagram AFB has a malaria outbreak because over 30, yes i said 30, airforce retards refused to take their malaria medication. Not because of any religious shit or anything, but because they didnt want to deal with the hassle of taking a regiment of medication on a timely basis. The kicker is that over half are medical staff.

Lmao the briefer was struggling to hold back anger when this one commander asked what could have been done to prevent this. Luckily another commander embarrased him by saying, you get malaria by not taking the malaria meds.

sleeping pills

that's the airforce

for anyone who wants to join the airforce because they think it's a cozy and easy job, just do the fucking navy, I've met too many shitheads in the air force

To be fair the antibiotics tbeybprescribe give a lot of people weird side effects and night terrors, I'd say the majority of people don't take them, especially if they're fobbits.

Don't worry about it.

For me I would say, don't go to bed today, no caffeine whatsoever. Stay awake until tomorrow 8pm Then go to bed and set an alarm for 430am.

You might oversleep because you're so tired but so long as you wake up early in the morning then you will start to feel sleepy around 9-10pm after that. Keep trying.

Yes airmen basically think they're not in the military and can do whatever they want regarding a lot of normal military things. Theyre basically encouraged to make comfort based decisions and it blows my mind.

Who the fuck does this? Just live your life until you ship holy shit. Enjoy your time. Youll adjust within a few days once you're there and be cemented 3 weeks in. Fucking shit guys are you even in the military?? This is retarded advice

your first few days will be sleepless anyways

This. Quit trying to prepare for everything. Youll be so tired it wont matter what time youve trained your body to wake up.

waking up early and following your body's natural circadian rhythm in the morning is great you mongoloid. I do a sleep reset a couple times per year.

I've never been issued meds for Bagram, been there a lot. Always told to take stuff when going to Africa but I never do because 99% of the time I'm only there for 2 hours and I don't want that shit in my body.

I have 2+ years left before I graduate university. What should I be doing in order to prepare for Sandhurst? At the moment I'm just reading broadly and doing starting strength + eating lots of chicken and spinach and rice

Attached: 1536271148412.jpg (500x500, 61K)

Doing it to prepare for bootcamp is stupid is what I'm saying. You need some reading comprehension development apparently.

No, that would at least be a reasonable explanation. All of their statements were literally, didnt want to be bothered to take daily meds. Sort of like those women who complain they cant take birth control pills.

you're in the right track. cardio is a must. If (like most anons) you don't know anything about sports it's a good idea to join a sports club just to keep active and get experience with small groups.

>2hours
Thats why you were never issued meds.

why did you reply to me and not the original poster who was preparing for bootcamp then?

maybe the reddit reply system is easier to follow for you.

I did that to him earlier saying not to worry about it. Am phoneposting so don't care to actually add post ids into the message. You're all retarded for telling someone to adjust their sleep just for bootcamp which intentionally fucks with your sleep as soon as you arrive anyway.
Don't pretend you're just giving out generic sleep advice now you retard. I swear meg is mostly nonserves advising nonserves

I replied to him before you told him not to worry. The first reply was mine. Back to plebbit
if you can't follow replies on here.

>nonserves advising nonserves
It's been like that since I started posting in here back in 2010. Kids ask the same retarded questions about SF and jet pilot sniper seals every single thread.

what are the retarded sf questions?

Look up.
>is sf achievable or is a pipedream
>how do I go 18x
>how long is an 18x contract
>what if I fail 18x
>why does sf do xyz
>what's part 37 of the q course like
Ad nauseum

>w what questions do other people have that are retarded so I know not to ask those
Clever user

Yeah you replied with bad advice.

Read what I wrote again.

Why are enlisted personnel so bad at choosing wives, compared to the officers?

I had a bad eczema breakout a few years back but it seems to have stopped coming in, only thing is that I still have a few bumpy areas on my shoulders and upper arms. How fucked am I at MEPS? Should I try to get a waiver or should I just lie?

Attached: reddit.png (806x460, 365K)

officers get bah automatically
enlisted are on average younger and don't get bah if they're single until they're usually ncos

so young fools seeking bah marry without learning to read the signs first

dude let's sign up to serve Jews in Jewish wars, and then go even further by guiding more and more young desperate alienated white men into the arms of the Jewish World Government slave army.

I hate you people beyond belief. You literally choose to serve a slave master and help him enslave more people just like you.

Serious question: Do you all understand that you are being used by the elites to spread American fiat capitalism around the world, guiding the entire world into slavery, guaranteeing that young men like you will be slaves forever?

Guy in the article was an NCO when he shacked up with this chick. Enlisted personnel are just attracted to trash.

Pic related, the life cycle of the average enlisted male.

>Meyer received the medal for an incident in September 2009, when the corporal killed eight Taliban insurgents and rescued 36 Marines and other troops despite being shot in both arms.

Imagine doing that, then having some thot born in a rich politician household getting everything she wants to say you're a coward.

oof!

who hurt you, user?

Probably got an article and will spend the rest of his days spazzing at people who don't care to speak to him.

Thanks for paying for my college and retirement user

Can someone tell me how unlikely it is for me to be Fixed Wing Fast Jet pilot so I can go and become a Sapper Officer already.

How old are you? Grad date?

21, may 2019 mechanical engineering

get a waiver just in case

It's doable. If you want a guaranteed fighter slot you'd need to do it with the guard or reserves. ANG has most of the fighter units. Those slots are pretty competitive but if you get some good letters of rec, at least a PPL, good GPA, good AFOQT scores and PCSM you'd definitely get some interviews.

user, you make me wanna do navy so fucking bad

Is the navy harder than chair force?

What's the process and what do they ask for a security clearance?
Do they check medical history even without your permission? What if you lied during enlistment?

Attached: 1536255597319.webm (426x426, 1.97M)

They'll hook you up to a lie detector and ask about masturbation habits for around 6 hours. The first half seemed like they were just running down a checklist then the second they were trying to trip me up. They caught me on a few things but afterwards they said it was fine if I like that stuff. Though it would be geared more towards national security but like 80% of the conversation had something to do with transexuals.
