Dice hasn't made a battlefield game since bf4. Everything after that has been a shameless money grab, building a barebones "game" with minimal effort for maximum profits. It's pretty much what EA has always done to studios

BF3 was the first and last one I played. I would have gotten into BF4, but all I saw in it was is BF3 with some new stuff. I loved BF3, played it daily.
I was a little salty at buying the BF3 DLC pass and not getting some of the items that were advertised in the later updates. That turned me off from the series.

The last battlefield I thoroughly enjoyed was actually bad company 2, but at least 3 and 4 felt like battlefield games. They still had big ass maps and alot of content. Every game after 4 had been anemic by comparison and at more like call of duty games than battlefield games

Higher velocity isn't a trait exclusive to +p ammo. Velocity is as variable as ammo itself. Different loads and bullet weights will have different velocities. +P is just a pistol ammo thing for specific loads designed for greater effect on armor

What do you mean from a programming perspective? Bullets travel at different velocities in real life, too. The biggest reason this is a problem in my opinion is because it's just incredibly, unforgivably lazy
