That's a awesome face mask.

Remington M2010, the new sniper rifle system being fielded by the army. The original XM2010 was field tested in OEF10-13 by Ranger Batt, 1st and 3rd Groups and FORSCOM units. My unit 3/41 had one per line company and 2 in the Scout PLT attached to BN HQ.

Also forgot to add it's chambered in .300 WinMag. A pretty decent precision rifle. The wiki article for it states that soldiers were given a 3 day course to familiarize with the weapon, that however is bullshit, we got a rifle and were told, figure out how to use it.

Sorry you had to shoot a Remington

Maybe it's to help you aim since scope has a really narrow FOV? Astronomers sometimes have reddots on their telescopes for the same reason

>got a rifle
>told figure it out
>its literally the same as every other noltgun ever
Oooh, tuff.

Unironically, because a lot of military guys are addicted to retarded video games such as Call of Duty.

Erm.... Well it's not a red dot

That makes sense, I’ve seen it before on spotting scopes for this reason.
