What's the difference in the civilian MRE and the military MRE? Wouldn't it be better to just buy the civilian one since it's probably a lot fresher and cheaper?
Also, mountain house is pretty damn tasty.

I’ve never had a civilian MRE so I couldn’t tell you the difference. These 2 are the last of the MREs that I managed to stockpile while in the military. And yes mountain house meals are delicious. These ones have a best by date of 2047
