What, in /akg/'s opinion, the best Russian 7.62x39 ammunition overall? In regards to reliable function, accuracy, high velocity (for 7.62), cleanest shooting etc. Most of the Russian ammo seems to be about the same price so if there are any appreciable differences in quality I'd like to know.

I've fired 4k rounds with zero duds, nice larp.

Okay. Never had a failure in my AKs but in my Swiss Arms SG 553R I would have multiple failures to fire per magazine. I’m sure I just happened to only put the bad ones in the 553R.

everyone is mostly having issues in ak's, one batch of .223 had a 100% failure rate, entire batch was bad, there was a huge thread on akfiles about it, GT still has a handful of dud per case, but it's better then 100% failure rate, no experience with x39 just the .223 for me.

Those AMDs are fine. I've not heard any problems with the TGI ones. All the issues seem to be with the new ones Classic had.

Oh okay gotcha. Never used the GT .223, only 7.62x39 which does have hard primers. Can’t use it in 7.62x39 ARs without a better firing pin or in other non AKs, like my 553R. Works perfectly in my SLR-107cr and Vepr AKM
