normal as in like a hipoint or normal as in like a fuck you faggot stop making shit threads?

yeah but I really liked stargate sg-1 so I'm biased.

Only with a short barrel

It's got nothing on this.

Gtfo

Because its a sub machine gun at heart, and not some bullshit pistol caliber wanabe rifle.

Yeah, probably.

>go to the range
>a dude with some sort of bullpup or the other is there
>watch him try to shoot target he'd put at the 200 yard mark
>minimal aiming
>crack crack crack
>not full on mag dump but not careful at all either
>dirt clouds rising every where but behind the target
>maybe he was just trying to intimidate it

Yes, I would very much
Checked and true

It has a tremendous amount on that. Mostly in that it works.

Yeah, they're so fucking comfy

This is what I'm spending my tax return on next year. Or an MP5 clone, or an RPK. I'm not certain yet, and very conflicted.
>pls no bully

would consider getting one if it came with a real pic rail that isn't airshit

Attached: airshit.jpg (1000x667, 90K)

Of those get the MP5 clone unless you don't have an actual rifle. Then get an AR-15.

It still wouldn't be FA, though, and you'd have to get a stamp for the suppression, even if you got away without an SBR stamp.

>over
No
>as well as
You better believe it

I like PCCs/SMGs and want a bunch of them.

Rubber bands cost $.05 each.

not talking about the suppressor, just a mounting rail or something that gives some beef to the barrel right where it meets the receiver
it just gives a better profile rather than a stick stuck into a block imo, and you can mount shits and giggles

Attached: ca90tr xt.jpg (474x338, 14K)

pros
>50 round fun time
cons
>yore gay if you dont like it

Just get a faux suppressor then.

That does look a lot nicer.

How about this?

Attached: Dan-Haga-Designs-Aluminum-PS90-M-LOK-Handguards-1-660x360.jpg (660x360, 50K)

hell yes

Cons
>super easy to lose your wallet to ammo

>gives some beef to the barrel right where it meets the receiver
Do you even how works?

I'd be inclined not to in most cases. I'll use the Cx4 as an example, since it's my favorite PCC. The main pro the P90 has is capacity. 50 rounds is a beautiful thing. On the other hand, you're going to be limited in terms of what's available compared to a PCC in the three major calibers. The Cx4 has better ergonomics: reloads are going to be a lot easier, the stock sights are awesome. How is the accuracy and reliability of a PS 90? I've never had issues with the Cx4, and I can easily hit an empty soup can at 50m. Can't ask for more accuracy than that.

Any reason you can't free-float the beef? This one is. This airshit appears to be.

receiver, handguard, whatever the polymer bit where you hold it is called
I don't know the terminology for p90s so I figured the polymer casing was the receiver since it holds the barrel, mag, and bcg together

what is this meme lookin son of a gun?

AR-57. It's an upper for an AR-15 that takes P90 mags.

The black shit is cast steel. All plastic was a F2000 thing.

Come to think of it. 90s to y2k FN was what HKwas to the 80s. Crazy innovative shit.

U dumb

That’s a con for anyone u employed or working minimum wage

Yeah, don’t talk about a fucking ferrari if all you drive is a honda civic, peasant

really? never held or seen on irl so i figured it was polymer since that's the way a lot of bullpups are built
so what then is the receiver?

Cast steel

Looks like a goofy jrpg/mmo sword with the long barrel.

If it was in 9mm would it have been successful?

I would

They are not too hard to convert back to p90 only issue is no bolt hold open.

There's this one:

stfu.

Using tapered rounds would probably result in an uglier or less reliable design of magazine. Getting people to trust the twist to work is hard enough. It would also hold fewer rounds, or be bulkier.

Fuck, I can't unsee that

FN is pretty reliable when it comes to its engineering.

>AR-57
Good luck trying to get that pile of garbage to function, or at the very least not blow up in your face.

Attached: mwINEaP.jpg (728x410, 38K)

nothing a hacksaw cant fix :)

OP literally asked "would you take this over a normal PCC", genius.

This. I'd TAP that. ;)

Attached: 44120818carter-p90-jpg.jpg (550x412, 28K)

can someone give me the gesalt on why more guns dont use the p90 style of magazine?

Can the newest packs still be converted to gen 1 with just the aluminum trigger upgrade? Or is the sear gone?

Just a guess, but I'd reckon they patented/copyrighted the mechanism.

Sorry, meant to reply to this post...but yes.

Complexity

MP7 is a better gun, although the P90 has the better cartridge.

>t. someone who has shot neither

>Things I own that already shoot pistol calibers: Pistols
Sure, why the hell not. The 5.7 pistol is dumb.

MP7 is more popular with police and special forces.

Because it's cool

so he's right. You haven't shot SHIT.

That doesn't mean anything.

It requires a very sharp neck and if you make the cartridge longer (say 5.56x45 vs 5.7x28) the gun must become wider

nah

Ranch babies fuck off.

WTF DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?

Yes. Only w/ a short barrel though.
