Like said 8m3 is utterly the best for the price to fuck up soft targets.
Golden tiger is a hollow tip FMJ so its slightly better than standard FMJ against soft targets with an added dash of better accuracy. Also is great for long term storage due to lacquer coating and sealed at case mouth and primer if your into that stuff.

7.62x39 only gives you about a third more rounds than 308, while 5.56 gives you about twice as many. This can be a really good reason to choose 5.56 over 308, but it's not a strong argument for x39.

Due to their tapered design x39 is not significantly slimmer than 308, so high capacity magazines are long and they've all got that stupid curve that makes them harder to pack efficiently. You can get anything up to 50 round drum magazines in 308, if you like.

That's an advantage of 308, but not x39, which only has slightly more energy than 5.56, but has a much fatter, slower bullet making it effectly a shorter range round. 308, on the other hand, can push the same 30 caliber bullets as x39 much faster.

x39 is better thought of as a half-assed 308 than a beefed up 5.56.
