Yes, it is, but where did you picture this thread going?

>7.62x39 ammunition, what a well versed cartridge.
In Canada maybe. Not USA.

>7.62x39
honestly considering not buying a PTR because of that cartridge, despite having a bunch of steel mags ready for one. 308 is just too expensive even for steel cheapshit.

>these to are literally 7.62x39 icepicks
>well versed

Yeah sure breh

Why is polymer coated bad

I like how it has so much more power than 5.56. You really see that when shooting steel plates, or dropping a deer

>15% more than 55gr
>only 5-7% over heavier gr 5.56x45mm
>absolutely shit BC compared to even 55gr
Heh.

it's for big bois

Numbers don't mean shit to me. I see how much more it knocks around plates at 100 meters. Inside of 300 meters, 7.62x39 is the superior cartridge

>dents plate

good powerful man round, and the 3rd most popular round in america.

I want a 28 inch barreled glass bedded 7.62x39 bolt action, I would really like to stretch this chambering's potential to the maximum.

with my cigar sights we could bring this round into 22'st century today.

Kinetic energy is one way of measuring power

Heavier bullets tend to do more with their energy though, try shooting some 230 grain 45 acp against a cinderblocks. Then shoot some light grain 9mm +p.

Similar energy, but the heavy bullet breaks shit much better with its higher momentem.

imagine being this butthurt

What a bullet does to solid objects has nothing to do with what a bullet does inside the body. Thinking otherwise is utter fuddlore tier

What If the body is behind a solid object you stupid kike, we are talking about the utility of a round, which happens to be made for urban combat / general CQC

>Calling someone a kike for pointing out fact.

You really are a fucking retard, aren't you.

Not denying you'll get better penetration through materials and less deflection. In fact, I'm getting an sks just because of the north east Ohio foliage and terrain. But if you think knocking around a plate makes it better as far as terminal ballistics go, maybe you should go back to /v/

There's not a particular reason to do this besides personal conviction. The round itself is adequate in it's original role, bringing it outside that isn't a very good idea.

I like it. But I wish we had good cheap ammo that way I don't have to factor in poor ammo when I'm testing the accurate of my AK. It's a good round for 200yds and in.

Fuck that picture

Someone post that pig that got gotten by the 75gr BTHP 5.56 that does the same exact thing for less.

no such thing exists.

>medfag
That's probably why he called you a kike

What does medicine have anything to do with the Jew

>Grab a steelcase round and put it into bullet puller
>Give a good whack
>The bullet isn't boattailed
>Also missing about half the lead it's supposed to have

Lmao they failed their first ever audit

Idk probably some stupid ass Jow Forums conspiracy

a cz527 is probably the closest thing.

>someone post the thing I just made up because I realized 5.56 can't make the same kinds of wound channels that a well built 7.62x39 projectile can
