I own a few firearms in .40 S&W. It's a fine round but isn't the super special round it used to get made out to be. It was a great round during the various ammo panics because it was always available. If you want someone to be hyper-defensive tell a 10mm fag that they should've just bought a .40 S&W.

Why? I have an AR15, an ARX100, and a SIG 556XI and can tell you that the AR15 isn't anything special. It's just cheap.
