Give me those grips bb.

Antique or not, WWI was started by using one of these.

Define antique.

Those grips would be wrong for that serial number, sorry! And yes, it's comfy af, feels so solid.

Reeeee. Also I'm sort of tempted to get stag grips, think it's a bad idea?

I don't like the look of stag grips but that's purely personal preference. Do it if it gets you stiff.

1943 WWII issue Remington-Rand 1911, also carried in Vietnam (and unofficially in Laos) by my crazy uncle.

Time for a little story

>live in France
>go to gun shop to buy ammo
>while an employee is doing the papers for me, an old couple comes in
>another employee asks them what they need
>they get a very old looking wallet holster out, say they've had this gun for decades, belonged to the old woman's father and want to get rid of it
>the employee opens the wallet, it's a 1910 in .32 acp
>the old couple is giving the gun up for destruction because "it's forbiddgen to have a gun, guns are scary and evil bla bla bla"
>employee pulls out magazine, it's loaded.
>racks the slide, it was chambered
>mfw

And here's another, French copy of the pocket hammerless made by Unique during the german occupation of France in WWII. Supposedly taken from a Wehrmacht officer's corpse by my grandfather post D-Day.

Every time I see one of these at a gun show I'm tempted. I don't need one at all, but they're so pretty and historic.

pre 1898 as per atf

How many POWs were executed with that?

>pre 1899 as per atf
FTFY.

dammit.
This is correct I meant 1898 and older >:l

I think OP was going with the non-GCA definition of 100 years or older.

With that in mind, here is a Fritz Langenhan Selbstlader

All three 100+ years old.

Prices range from 800 to 2400 dollars.

I haven't shot them but the Colt and Remington are shooters. Both have strong springs and cylinder lock.
