How much Ruger is too much?

Got the security 9 and the AR-556. What's next? I've been thinking about a lc9 for ankle holster tier driving comfort. Or an SR1911 in 10mm for "fuck your shit, nigger." Tier CCW comfort.

Ankle holsters are for no gunz who have never worn one b4. Before you buy an ankle holster.
Strap a 2 pound weight to one leg and walk around for a few weeks,

Also, I’m thinking super red hawk.
Then buy some other type of holster.

I haven't even tried to buy Ruger and I've ended up with a Mark II, a Redhawk .44, three Mini-14s, and a No.1 in .416 Rigby.

Their customer support has been pretty great with any question or parts request I've had.

No true Ruger fan can be without one of those weird jawbreaker candy stocks.

Looks like we're going down a revolver detour. I've never shot a revolver, but I've always wanted one.

How about a nice red label?

In my collection:
An LCR
An LCP II
A Mini-14
A Predator in .308
A PC Carbine
A Mk. IV Lite
A stripped AR lower made into an AR pistol.
And I used to have a 10/22 Takedown that I ended up selling.

I really don’t care what OP buys.
But thanks for starting the Ruger thread.
Sorry for the upside down pic

They don't make those anymore. What's more, I've never seen one in a lgs or pawn shop.
>Could a gp100 handle hot 10mm loads? Or a SP101 handle hot .357 mag loads?

Yes you can
Because bull barrels are best barrels

Ankle holsters are fine as long as they're snug and above the ankle. I carry my glock 43 in one when at work in severe no guns workplace.

Dammit
Wtf wrong with upside down pictures.?

Strap this to your ankle OP.

I'm op. I do allot of interstate travel, and would like to ankle holster carry. It's a constant nag on a 8+ hour drive when I become get comfortable sitting and my lumbar hits the grip on my IWB. Good posture prevents the discomfort, but it's nice to be comfortable on a long drive. Unless it's a 14+ hour drive. Then comfort*distance=death. It would also be nice to piss at a truck stop without my pants sagging.

Paddle holsters are adjustable

I'm waiting on my 10mm sr1911 right now. Got it for a woods/fishing gun. It felt great in the hands and really well built. I've never considered myself a Ruger fanboy or anything but it seems like all the guns that I've liked the most that I've owned have been Rugers (10/22, MarkII, Mini-14).

I have one for a makarov and I used it once, never to be worn again...stupid place to keep a gun and you look like a loupy walking dick with one on. Try grabbing it in a hurry, good luck. Its only good if your on your back and your legs are in the air...which might be perfect for your lifestyle, I dont know....to each his own!

>>fishing gun
You are going to shoot fish with it?

How much Freedom is too much Freedom?

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUk

Why do you need a special gun just for fishing?

dammed right!

You only fish for actual fish in the "woods"?
>Be at a stop light getting back onto the highway after fuelling up and pissing
>Wild nog approaches with hood up and hands in pockets
>Reach down to my ankle, pull up pants legs, retrieve SP101
>Light turns green
>Fuck yeah, bout time
>Drive the next 220 miles with stainless steel block in passenger seat cause I can't get it back in my holster while driving.
Or
>Stop light
>Not
>Arch back and retrieve security 9
>Light turns green
>Drive 220 miles with plastic fantastic in passenger seat because my leather IWB holster collapse and I can't get the pistol back in
Seems like a no win situation.
>Bonus round
Get pulled over for doing 10 over and explain to the hi-po what happened with both hands open and clearly visible.

>Calf holster

Checked.

Why?

You bought the only semiautomatic rifle in 7.62x39 that doesn't run steel case ammo and has malfunctions due to light primer strikes on thicker russian primers.

You know, 95% of the ammo on the market for 7.62x39 is steel case.

Get the pc carbine. They are going for cheap now and they are great, plus you can use your security 9 magazines with it.

I have 2000 acres of land near the coast with a giant river going through it. Good amount of fish and salmon runs but also a good amount of bears and cougars. Really just gives me an excuse to buy a damn sr1911.

>not strapping one end of a taken down pc carbine to each leg when you're out walking.
brainlet.

ruger #1 in a big game cartridge.

Anything more than a 10/22 and 22/45 is too much.

You've opened my mind to new possibilities

PC carbine also

no such thing, complete your collection with a old army, redhawk/blackhawk, no.1, hawkeye, 10/22 LCP II, mark IV and SR 1911

leave hand gun on console...problem solved

its never enough

Nice digits, Liberty-bro. Ruger confirmed most American.

Shoulder holster. Ankles suck, even when driving.
