I've never heard of a student getting to carry a gun legally in that state, and if you are going to a university you are likely not going to be able to carry it to your school. Also you can't actually use it to defend yourself from anything short of a mountain lion attack, and even then you might get in trouble with the EPA.

-As long as no one finds out your fine. Just mail it USPS.

I just checked the Solano county SO CCW website. It’s got the usual disclaimers and bullshit, but nothing alarming. Then I checked a few of the ccw trainers in Solano. Classes every month, and they fill up fast. That’s a good sign.
