I haven't had any issues with standard fabrics (500/1000 denier cordura nylon) from any manufacturer. Thread is where I see a large difference in quality though. I try to only use American & Efird for threads as they are the industry standard. Never had any problems with their thread.

I gave up on the wait a couple months before it dropped. Glad I did too as I enjoy the rear mounted QD, cheekweld, and improved adjustability the A3 has to offer. The PDW brace is also still kind of long when collapsed as well which defeats the purpose imo as the PDW stocks don't do that.

If you have to cheap out I would spend more on the bladder than the carrier. Get a nice Source Tactical or Camelbak bladder and save money on the molle carrier.

Or just get a couple piss cheap surplus nalgenes and throw them into the pack.

I use a flatpack as a hydro carrier. I use a mystery ranch SATL as a pack and it has some wings that keep the pack away from your armor so you can ruck with a hydro if you need to
