With all the talk of sanctions I'm considering buying a 500+ round crate of S&B brass 7.62x39 so I can have a unlimited supply until steel shit from other countries starts coming in. I know Century imports a lot of non-russian steel cased stuff and if Russia is out of the market that may entice other countries to try and fill the void.

Hey guys can you point me in the right direction for building a Romo Gordo Russian inspired SF build?

7.62x39 is popular enough in the US that I am not super worried about it. US companies make it, albeit not as cheap as Russian steel case. Also countries that aren't Russia such as Poland make it and the only reason they don't sell it here right now is because they can't compete with the ridiculously cheap Russian prices.

There are a lot of good ARs and good AKS, but there are also bad ARs and AKs. It comes down to personal preference.
I bought an AR off a bud who was deploying and it's meh to me but I love the AR that I built. I also love the AK that I did work on.
