I reckon you'd need one helluva sewing machine to thread kevlar through nylon, but the prospect of being able to put together a plate carrier and my choice of pouches sounds like the end all Looney toons grade of prepper that either keeps the people that would be unsettled by such a thing, away, like I want to, and to attract those that'd if want to be around

Kevlar is really expensive at around 160 for a spool of #69 thread. You should be just fine running that type of thread through nylon on an industrial type machine. Probably over kill using that through though. Bonded nylon thread is very strong when stitched correctly.

There are some tricks like making relief cuts to avoid having to sew massive amounts of layers. It's a shortcut, but it can help get the job done if the machine will not carry the load.

Every piece of gear has its niche. So here’s a question: padded battle belt or two later Velcro.
I’ve used both on 2 separate occasions and I can say I prefer the padded warbelt for when I’m not prepared and the Velcro when I get to pick the time and place. It’s kinda hard to throw the outer Ronin over your ranger panties but I wouldn’t want shit jiggling around before I jump.

If you’re talking about some big, artic, marshmallow parka, then yes, you’d sweep it out of the way just like in your Chinese cartoons, or your wear it on the outside if it’s a true huge belt-loops-on-the-outside-Pando-commando parka. Even then you’d be wearing all of your web gear on the outside anyway.
