Anything Mossberg

A sub $500 10 gauge

Uhh... power is dictated by gauge and for the most part there isn't much cost difference there.

For instance a 12ga is pretty much standard, but that could be a $300 pump action, $500 semi-automatic, $2000 fancy over/under or a $100 single shot. It's all launching the same payload with the same power.

There are longer and shorter Chambers. For instance the standard shotgun shell is 2 3/4" long, although most modern shotguns have 3" Chambers and can fire 3" shells which can be more powerful or carry a larger payload.

There are also 3.5" chambered 12ga shotguns meant to basically replace 10ga although most 3.5" shells are birdshot.

In other words this is more of a question of what kind of shell you want to fire. If it's a 3" magnum buckshot load there are plenty of cheap and expensive guns that will launch it. If it is 3.5" that's less common but a Mossberg 535 can still be had in your budget.

My Academy had camo Stoeger P350 3.5” 12 Pumps for $250 on clearance
It’s a really good deal

>power is dictated by gauge
Gauge is bore diameter, you stupid nigger. I could have a .12 gauge shotgun and it would have zero power if I put zero propellant in it. You're a european party platter gone wrong, fucker. BAN europeans and let them rape themselves with the niggers they want to take in and breastfeed like they do when they shit nuggets (non/k/ind) and touch them to their tits in an attempt to breastfeed them, then execute them with pepe social norm violations.

Oh look it's the poorfag who wants to kill himself again

Well that's more or less true, although a 12ga is going to have more potential for either velocity or payload than a 20ga or a .410 so from that standpoint if you want more power you want more capacity.

You can have a .410 shell loaded with 4 pellet 0000 buck that's more effective than a 12ga 2 3/4" #8 birdshot load, but it sure as fuck won't come close to a 12ga 2 3/4" 12 pellet 00 buck load.

You sound like an angry child that has nothing better to do than pick out some minor oversight in any post and jump down their neck. I feel sorry for you. Don't forget to take your crazy pills before you kill yourself or someone else.

Benelli Supernova Field. 3 1/2 magnum- ~$375. Very smooth pump action, but the barrel rusts if you look at it too hard.

Grab an old Remington 870 Express Magnum off a pawn shop rack for like $400 max. Enjoy the recoil, pull that sucker in tight to your shoulder.

Get a mossberg maverick 88. Brand new usually for under $300. Next!

What a weird question. Do you think it shoots harder if you spend more money?

You can get cheap chinese 12 gauges for like $150 anywhere.

Just be sure to get a pre cerebus model, and it'll outlast you if you aren't negligent with it.

Eww, dicks...

>buying anything from Dick's

whats the cheapest semi auto shotgun you can buy?

Pawnshop Ithaca37

$99 hatfield 12 gauge

Mossy 500 for around $250 depending where you live.

>.12 gauge
>people will still fall for this

Here's a pity (you)

In shotgun barrel length matters much more than in rifles.

probably like the Tristar semi's or some other Turkish guns.

Jow Forums particularly hates them because, yknow, turkish and all that---and i've never shot them---but they are surprisingly well-reviewed and considered absurdly value efficient.

Pardner 12ga for $200 or less. Or hit your local pawn shop and find a dirt cheap shotgun

10 Gauge is shit, not because of the spec, but because there is literally no good hot 10 gauge ammo.

As far as I know, this is the most powerful commercial shotgun round you can buy:

At 4759 Foot Pounds it's a hefty lad, but way too expensive IMO. If you want a powerful shotgun, a 12 gauge rated to handle 3.5in shells is your best option. Unless you are a very talented reloader who can make 10 gauge within spec that is super hot. Considering how dumb OP's post is, I'm guessing he isn't that guy.

Also, honorable mention to Warwolf Ordnance because they make 0000 Buckshot in 10 gauge, but it's fucking $35+ for 10 rounds.

They don't list an energy, but assuming the 1400FPS is correct, and that they measure .375in for diameter of 0000 shot then that should be around ~4132 Foot Pounds of energy, if I did my math right.
