If it can kill people, it has some place on the battlefield. It really depends on what kind of battle you're trying to wage.
Even muskets can be used to deadly effect in the modern day.

Rocket artillery has been extremely useful in Ukraine, destroying light armor, troop concentrations, artillery positions and more.
The combination of MRLS and drone surveillance is very effective.

That were against Ukrainians and Ukrainians doesn't exist. What if they were used against 'real people'. I doubt they could be effective enough to warrant the production.

We used the M270 MLRS in Desert Shield and Iraqi Freedom, and we've used HIMARS in Iraq and Syria. They probably got used elsewhere too but some rudimentary googling found those first.

First time HIMARS hit a ship, they used RRPRs though, so the Racine didn't go down until they hit with the torpedo.

It won't be cheap if its not accurate. Unlike Chinese precision rockets that will really go where you want it to, these Russian rockets might not hit the target even if you fire 2000 of them into it.
