How long will it take me to get a gun assuming I have all the money for the gun and ammo. But haven't done anything like registering or anything else necessary to get a gun.

It would help to know what country and state you live in.

$10 on Cali or NY, those fucks don't know what google is.

In Alaska you just point at what you want then fill out the 4473. Then they go into the back "to get the gun" (not the display model) and I swear those fuckers use that to take a break. 9 of the 10 minutes he's back there the fucker is probably vaping or watching creepy canadian porn.

In a free state
>fill form
>gib monies
>take funs
Who knows in your commie shithole

>creepy canadian porn

Canadians don't have genitals. They're like Pokemon that like hockey and unchecked Chinese immigration.

I was thinking it no longer needs just 2 legs to have sex with.

6 weeks in CA, 12 weeks in NY.

hijacking this guy's thread
in a private sale can you simply hand over the gun for money? Is there no paperwork involved? That is what Google is making it seem like, sounds ridiculous

>in a private sale can you simply hand over the gun for money

Yes, in most places in the United States. I've bought firearms at yard sales and parking lots.

Nigga wat

I bought a .22 last month and picked it up 10 days later.

appreciate the response
very aesthetic photo

too accurate

Sure, if you live in a free state, check your local and state laws etc. In my state that's perfectly legal, although making a bill of sale or at least positively recording who you bought the gun from(ex photo of license) may be a good CYA measure in case it was used in a crime before or after you owned it. Making face to face sales illegal effectively means creating a gun registry after all, which has obvious issues in this post PATRIOT act/GWOT world where clearly the government has nothing but your best interests in mind.

I'm so glad I moved to Texas.

5 days in FL if you don't have a CCW permit

bout tree fiddy

why the fuck it take so long? I can buy a gun here in Colorado and it only takes a few hours. what diffrence does the shitty waiting period make?

Canadian, here. My dick is large enough for two men.

You both have to be residents of the same state, though. You can't buy or sell over state lines without it going through an FFL.

How would anyone know? There's no database or registry. You hand some guy cash and he hands you a gun, there aren't cops watching over your shoulder 24/7.

By that standard, what good are any of the laws?

I'll bet they both love it.

Glad I live in real America (Texas).

If I know what I want I can be in and out in less than 20 mins. That goes for pistols too.

Also much faster if you have a ccw, since you don’t need to fill out forms.

Your fathers said "Hi"

There is no waiting period in NY as of right now.

You may want to fill out a bill of sale just to cover your ass, in case the guy is selling you stolen property. It's just a form you print out and get the other guy to sign.

Fifteen minutes

>registering
That's a laugh

>youtried.png

>Set up joke that only works if one guy makes a gay joke in reaction to it and then another guy reacts to his joke
I think it deserve points for the way it went down.

A bill of sale is something you provide someone with if the item you're selling them is not physically exchanged. Say, a car with a lost title, because you're selling the title, the right to own the car, not just physical possession of the car. You are giving them evidence that you have relinquished your claim of ownership.

Having a gun purchaser fill out a "bill of sale" for you to keep is fud bullshit.
