I do consider what poltards say, because I listen to everything and even a broken clock is right twice a day. It's pretty hilarious how they have the same exact logic patterns, fallacies, blind spots and behaviour as blue-haired Tumblr lefties but are completely oblivious of this fact. They can't deal with people having other opinions or the possibility of being wrong.

The way I see it there is so much noise (info/disinformation) on the internet and world at large it's impossible to really know what is going on. Only have some vague idea based upon probably and personal experience, which varies person to person, hence why people see the same thing different ways.
It's not a comforting worldview because it's so uncertain, but it helps avoid groupthink which demands you ignore your own senses in the name of narrative.

It's worse than you think. We're approaching a post-proof world. Anyone who has had pictures taken of them and recordings of their voice can have both their voice and likeness recreated by software to do or say anything someone could want. Look up the "Deepfake" controversy, for instance. It's not perfect, yet, but it's a damn sight past the point of potentially causing problems.

You can still get a pretty functional picture of the world by getting off the internet and out in the real world. Interact, talk and listen to a lot of people. Politicians and celebrities lie, but most people aren't politicians or celebrities.

Then again going outside and interacting in a healthy way with lots of different people with different opinions and life experiences is not exactly what the Jow Forums or Tumblr demographic is known for. We're society's misfits, so we cluster together and our individual delusions become a collective insanity. With the world becoming an increasingly confusing mess it's an appealing alternative, although it's not the same as enlightenment. The redpill or bluepill is just a delusion of a different flavor.

There's a photo of a dude in a blue forgotten weapons polo with Ian hair/mustache/beard, half-assed out on a couch at a party with some person in a fursuit or something next to him (it's not clear because that person is mostly out of frame). His face doesn't look right though and it turned out pretty quickly that it was just an absolute unit who went and cosplayed as Ian at a con and the photo was taken at a party.
