I want collectivize our energies into something positive: a dedicated, fair, non-liberal Gun, military history, hunting, and ammunition Wiki. The state of liberally biased Wikipedia is absolutely disgusting. With globalist, federal agency-backed intrinsic bias baked into the platform itself and with retarded, bitter hall monitors deleting any fair changes people may add to articles, we can do better than that.
There are Wikis dedicated to everything. From obscure anime’s to firearms in movies and TV, it blows my mind there isn’t anything out there. What can we do? Has this been tried before? Is there actually a platform out there that I cant find with a basic search?
>Every time I try and make a BASED alteration to history these mean shitlibs with actual degrees come and correct me >Only left leaning people do this, right wing people would never attempt narrative control >Muh globalists did this Are you just asspained because someone took down your latest Rhodie fanfic or what?
What the fuck are you talking about? When it comes to guns wikipedia seems to be retty fair and balanced in my experience.

You CANNOT make anything wiki-based unbiased BY DEFAULT. The idea of letting users be able to create and edit and correct articles over time is simply not going to work over topics which are disputed. That's asking for trouble, and closing edits to verified members breed a very different sort of trouble in the long run. You have to work with what you have. Obvious political shilling will get erased but the more subtle iterations will stick around, especially since wikis tend to include stuff such as public-image/reception in articles. THE BIAS WORKS BOTH WAYS, AND YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO HAVE A PUBLIC-EDITORIALIZED ONLINE COMPENDIUM FREE OF IT. Pick your poison.

>Read wikipedia about a gun >all information is correct and neutral
Nigger what are you talking about?
Nathan James
>muh college educated liberals
Dylan Walker
Just use the rational wiki
Tyler Evans
While their already gun wikis and one really good one on camo what we need is a wiki based specifically around wars and battles
Easton Hernandez
>College is bad because everyone who goes there suddenly doesn't agree with me >It can't be that I'm wrong, it must be some sort of plot
William Bailey
Isn't there already a conservative wiki where facts and reality can't hurt your feelings?
Go be a fag there. Shoo.

College students and 90% of professors are fucking retarded about anything outside the narrow focus of their research. t. works at a prestigous university
This. It's like people bitching about using Wiki articles as a source and saying that it's okay now because it's much more reliable than it used to be. The wiki system is fundamentally flawed on this point.
Jonathan Gomez
No you dumb yokel. Wiki reflects published and peer reviewed/verified sources. It is NOT for publishing first hand research you dumb goat fucker. Meaning it is not a place for you to post your latest chutulu vaccine hillary putin A L I E N S woke theories. Fuck off back to Jow Forums where you belong.
Evan Torres
there's a surprising amount of people who believe their opinions matter more based on the fact they went to college. I've had people tell me their degrees in biochemistry or physics makes them qualified to tell me why I'm voting against my better interests or any other political science matters.
Justin Jones
add to that the acrimonious fights we with degrees and topical expertise on the subjects of weapons and armor get into
Dominic Parker
You've got a point there- I was once reading about Germanic heathenism, and in the section of the page about persecution by Christians, there was some retarded shit about since they were white they can't be persecuted. Allowing marxists to infest the education system is one of the worst fucking things this country has ever done. A lot of people who go to college are impressionable idiots (normies), who then buy into socialist groupthink because their marxist professors tell the class what to think. This is why there is a leftist slant when you look at college graduates as a demographic group- because they've been indoctrinated, it's not because believing in retardonomics that don't work is associated with being smarter.

>I want a place without bias and where everyone agrees with me Wikipedia definitely has an admin bias problem, but conservapedias are always doomed to fail.
Ian Ramirez
Lmao look at this massive faggot
Zachary Miller
the reason teachers tell their students all wiki sourced papers will be thrown out immediately is because anyone can make changes. I have heard they started requiring proof of degree, but the jokes where people change things like slowly making states larger in the photos while drunk are real. back in highschool when wiki was really getting around kids were going in and making random wiki pages for people or even going as far as putting in some famous dead person eats shit on the persons wiki page. its not a good system at all if some teens can make changes like that. that's the problem it appears that they're arguing.
however a system like this does mean some level of neutrality is kept cause people who are neutral will see these and fix them.

iirc one of the original founder of wikipedia quit pretty early on to create exactly this : a peer-rewied encyclopedia where you could write an article only if you had a valid degree in that particular field. Didn't really workout in the end, not nearly enough articles were being published.
