How did people in the middle ages even aim their muskets with no eye slits?

your
>musket
seems to be magazine fed and bolt action

I don't grasp what you mean by eye slit, but aiming wasn't that big of a deal in the middle ages.
You start finding some rudimentary front sights on some 17th century guns; the first one with adjustable sights afaik is the 1851 french Minié rifle.
Before the 19th century it was thumb sights in battle, because between volley fire and shitty range & accuracy, marksmanship wasn't really a thing.
The prussians even favored hip-firing over shoulder-firing

Accuracy by volume

You don't aim a musket.

I hate this picture so much, his head has to be the size of an orange.

Do you think knights would use .50 BMG or .309 mm caliber in their muskets?

>.309 mm
huh

>.309 mm caliber
I'm going to assume you mean .308. Caliber is a measure of inches, millimeters are just that, millimeters.

This is not an educational picture to start

They didn’t necessarily aim so much as level and point

But their helmets were totally enclosing their faces. How did they even fucking see back then?

are you suggesting you believe warriors approached a battlefield blindfolded by choice?

Is that a Bloodborne?

>He doesn't want to crusade to Jarusalem with a Lee Enfield.

Well in the pictures their helmets dont have eye wholes. How the fuck did they see?

they didn't wear full helmets, what are you talking about?

>You don't aim a musket.
And you've never fired one and no less than nothing about their use in war, yes you do. Why can't people like you just sit down and shut up. What is this bullshit thread? Crap bait?

>Crap bait

>missing the point this hard

Aim? What is aiming?

They really couldn't see much when their visor was closed. Apparently a lot of guys chose to fight with no visor at all because they couldn't see shit otherwise. Matt Easton has talks about it in some of his videos. He says that with a lot of helmets you can tell there are some guys in front of you, but that's about it.

helmets with eye slits weren't used in conjunction with muskets

you have to be trolling at this point

you say >I dont mean Dungeons and Dragon shit I mean historical stuff like and
(OP)

Neither of which are historical depictions.

in no one ever wore a helmet like that, and it's very clearly fictional art

in that man has both a bolt action, a club, and a pyramid head helmet. he doesn't even have fucking shoes on dude
