I bought an Arsenal 107R. Big fucking mistake.

Bought rhoadie-style sling for my rifle to improve unsupported standing shooting. It doesn't help at all.

Bought one of those shitty M57A holsters from Classic along with the gun. It's got some lacquered finish on it which is super fucking dried up and its stiff. The leather under it is good though.

Bought new recoil springs for my FN49 from Sarco. They are bent af and too long to fit in the action, so they just coil up and jam it whenever you try to charge the rifle. Maybe I can bend them back in place and trim them to length with some wire cutters.

My front sight to my marlin 60 was loose, so I screwed it in a little tighter. Now I’m pretty sure it’s like 1mm off to the right, is this going to affect accuracy?

You probably arent using the sling right. Try using a GI sling in a loop wrapped around your upper bicep.

I have 20/30 vision in my right eye and astigmatism in the left so no matter which I use it fucks something up

Had that same problem when I started 4H shooting sports. Make a blinder for your left eye, plink with BB guns or .22 (whatever you got that's dirt cheap) with your right eye only. You'll eventually get it trained to be dominant.
