I’ve got a cool story. Christmas spirit is alive and well. So my sleep schedule has been off lately and I need to get up at 5:30am for work so last night I decided to pull an all nighter:

>neighbor comes out for a smoke
>cool guy, never talked to him much but we would bum cigs off each other
>as he’s about to go back inside he says “hey...you want a tv?”

>”no catch, I’m just moving to Georgia to take care of my mom for a bit and don’t wanna bother paying for storage or risk having it damaged. It’s yours if you want it”
>now I’m thinking it’s probably gonna be a little 20-30in older flatscreen if he’s giving it away

I am spending Christmas alone this year, I got all my gifts in the mail. None of my family wants to visit me because I live in the middle of nowhere. They also hate me because I refused to give up my guns when the rest of my family handed them all over.

I’m really sorry to hear that user. At least you got some gifts tho right? Maybe you’ll take comfort in the fact I’m giving the bigass TV to my good friend/roommate. His family ditched him and moved to Florida when he was 18. He doesn’t make much money let alone save any and video games are a big escape for him. His only TV burnt out a couple months ago and he’s been using an outdated old LCD so I figure he’ll appreciate it more than I will. Plus I’m alone pretty much as well. My parents are in state but that’s it and I had to work today and will have to work tomorrow. Merry Christmas user! It could be worse.
