They rewrote the constitution in the 30's. Threw almost all of that garbage into the trash.
Communist party was communist in name and that's about it. Money still existed. State owned means of production. There was a career ladder that could in theory take from a factory belt to the central committee, sure, but it was a shit system, rigid, inefficient.
They were hoping to eventually bring about an age of automation and leisure, but it wasn't going to happen with half of the world wanting them gone, because they threatened capitalism.
This is why I don't support people in Che shirts waving the red flags.
They stand for the part of the ideology that went out of the window first.
