T-55AM2. Armour add-ons made it quite resistant to 105mm rounds, vastly improved FCS, and tube-launched ATGM rounds.
Upgraded M-60A3 to Abrams M1A1 standard.

Its closer to the MBT70 than the Leopard 1. Hulls are different faggot
Why are tanks so sexy?
The only reason to take Norad instead of US alone in Wargames with maybe that 12.7 sniper team
75 Upgraded Hellcats are still in use with the Venezuelan army
Heavily modified Israeli M48 Patton’s converted to ATGM carriers. Some are remote operated supposedly
Reminds me of this, but slightly less gross
There is smething cool about the Centurion, I'll admit. Same with the t55 imo.

Egyptian T-100 tank destroyer
Cascavel, Brazilian updated M8 Greyhound
I’m assuming that’s to hide the heat signature?
Not it isn't lmao.
>British tank
Kek
The only ones out these in the first part of the thread from "looks" alone that seem like they could take a hit from an RPG is this one here.
Anyone know why the British tanks in Afghanistan and Iraq never was damaged internally from RPG's while U.S armored vehicles (Tanks) had to put on armored "racks" that could catch the RPG's?
never were damaged*
The british tanks have addon armour like in pic related when sent into combat. That's what stops the RPGs when hit from the side. There's also bar armour on the rear.
US tanks have similar packages. Either tank would likely suffer internal damage if hit in the side without the additional armour.
Centurion with an upgraded engine, addon ERA and a 105mm gun
A similarly upgraded m60
Both are Israeli vehicles
that one has little to no armor below the ERA though, so I doubt the AMX-30 does particularly well against RPGs.
>There's also bar armour on the rear.
Yep, this is the specific armor I was speaking of.
>addon armour
Thanks this is the term I didn't know. Simply scales for tanks to an extent.
I did not know that British went straight into battle knowing these were going to be necessary.
Not sure if you knew, but there were so many tank and vehicle shortages, losses, and men lost or severally wounded from the U.S because neither addon armour nor bar armor were applied to the vehicles. In fact by the time the U.S figured out this solution mass shortages both armors happened due to the demand for them.
You see all the time online men serving who lost limbs and face melted by rpg's when they were in the tanks.
