What makes the zenit grip special over a BCM vertical grip?

BCM stubby, Zenit R4/6, Tangodown stubby, RTM pillau are all excellent choices, I own the BCM, RK4, and RTM personally
A larger VFG won't matter but it'll be wasted since you're only using half and on an AK will get in the way
This is my AK as it sits right now aside from the fact that I've since added a sling
Just literally spend hours at home with your rifle in your hands moving around
I spend a lot of time just doing basic transitions like the ones you see in that webm at a more moderate speed to guarantee I have the motions down, then when comps come around you just speed it up
If you can't do a class I'd recommend just watching some vids on how to perform them then just spend the hours doing them at home till it's as natural as walking

Guys I want a krink but I cant decide between a 104 or a 107. The 104 has classic krink aesthetic, and gives me a James Bond Goldeneye boner, but the 107 is practically a better gun, cheaper to shoot, and the curve of the 7.62 mag has started growing on me.

7.62x39 has better performance out of short barrels than 5.45 as well. From a shoot-ability standpoint, 107 all the way.

I just use things that are already hung up around the house but yes coming up from a low ready and then dry firing when you get your sights on a predetermined spot is a drill that will always be worth your time
Once you get good at it add in some movement, whether it's strafing to the side, walking towards it, or moving away from it
Your rifle should be an extension of your body and something you're able to move around as easily as if it weren't there at all

I need to iron the rest of it out first. I've not taken off the gas block but I suspect this is one of the DD barrels with the huge .82 gas port or whatever, I was watching someone shoot it today and I couldn't believe how over gassed it seems, has h3 buffer in it and the recoil impulse is pretty gnarly. I ought to have a socom barrel cut down for it.

I want to wish everyone who frequently posts here a merry Christmas. I've been floating in this general for a little over a year now and had some great talks with some very helpful people. The people who frequent here, on the whole, are extremely helpful and interested in getting new people involved in AKs. The last year has been crazy hard for me after losing both of my grandparents. I really used AKs as something to focus on to keep myself sane, and alot of people here did more help for me during some of my lowest moments than any of them probably realize. Interacting with people on here, shooting some of the greatest firearms ever made, and celebrating glorious slav tech has really put alot of things in perspective for me. One of the biggest lessons I've learned this year is WGWS should literally kill himself. I don't think I've ever met someone as fucking insufferable as him. I mean seriously, how are you such a toxic piece of shit so young in life. Could you imagine giving birth to that fucking abomination. If I was his father I would spend the majority of my time deeply ashamed, and that's probably before knowing how much of a fucking faggot he is online. God help them if they ever figure it out. The only thing that makes me hesitate to tell him to discharge a 7.62x39 from that abortion of a gun into his temple is the fear his soul will go on to annoy the fuck out of meema and pop pop in the next life. Maybe if it just put him some sort of vegetative state we would all win.
TL:DR Thanks everyone, except you WGWS. You should severely disable yourself into a persistent vegetative state.
