Jow Forumsangaroo here. What can we do to get our rights back? What party can we vote for? I'm a young fag that wasn't around before the 1996 laws so I've grown up with this fucked shit.

Also if anyone has any infographics for getting licenced/statistics to help convince people on the on the fence(no use arguing with the fuckin idiots who made their minds up) throw em up.

Pretty sure you cant. Your whole political spectrum is at best apathetic to gun ownership and your major lobby groups are fudds who only care about bolt actions. You have private companies doing their bit by testing the boundaries with bolt action ARs, but no institutional support for that effort.

It's actually a drawing.

I dont think Aussies, Canadians, or Euros really have a chance and getting more lax gun laws. It really doesnt seem like any political party, no matter left or right, cares about guns

You wont be able to get your gun rights back through Voting.
No problem can be solved within the same system in which it was created.

You can only get them back through bushmen insurgency.

Nothing. Rights once lost are never reclaimed.

As a culture, you never had any. You are subjects.

Move and strengthen America's pro-freedom camps. You don't belong in a country if you want it to be like some other country, and we need every freedom loving man we can get over here to counterbalance the blue tide of south american socialists.

fuck off ATF

You don't need a savior, you need to integrate yourself and others like you into the process.

>voting to get your rights back
I'm afraid it don't work like that. Its a one-way street. Democracy is an elaborate scam. The people really in charge are not elected and they're playing the long game, using so-called "democracy" to take every last right away from the citizens no matter how long it takes.

You can never get your rights back through voting, be it gun rights or free speech. Your rights were taken by voting for those who took them, you can't reverse the process with the same vote. You need to take them back by force.

it's because they're the fucking bourgeoisie and they don't want to be tarred, feathered, and shot when they finally step on someone's back a little too hard and make food and fuel too hard to get.

How much fucking money does this fuck have?

>Move and strengthen America's pro-freedom camps.
Too bad you pretty much can't become an US citizen unless you have family or connections there

never enough.

if you want to enact permanent social change for the better, kill a billionaire. and his heirs too. they don't stop until they die. the rules normally governing money and power do not apply to them once they have enough friends in the right places. you can't even take all their money and neuter them. they only stop when they die.

Your ONLY hope without resorting to violence is to get an enormous amount of the population into guns.

Then after 2 or 3 generations the laws will start to loosen.

This is how legal pot and gay marriage is becoming a thing. It first needs to become part of the culture at large.

Can't get them into guns when being into the guns he wants back is extremely noisy even when suppressed and easily misconstrued as a budding terror plot.

Everyone can be a bolt action target shooter and they'll still cower in fear before government demonstrations of the true might of a semi-auto.

Also America only has a plethora of "battle rifles" because everybody expects the government to commit high treason against the people and shout about the greater good while sending infantry marching across farmland looking for guns and dissidents. Before the government made itself look like a real piece of shit with a long string of long, unpopular wars, the "war on drugs", ruby ridge, and mass shootings, most Americans didn't want a magazine fed semi automatic and even into the 90s people who owned them were still called rambo instead of normal.

Australia doesn't have that culture of extreme distrust of an increasingly corrupt state and so the people probably don't want an AR15, AR10, G3, and AK47, and SKS in each and every closet.

More like 1/1st.

I'm so pissed that Beck bought CRTV and then just axed Gavin.

Essentially infinite. He has enough money that he can profit off just the interest from his savings.

Vote for the LDP.

They have actually had about 4 senators elected in recent years.

Given how tight most of the elections are it gives minority parties a increasingly large voice. DO NOT VOTE FOR A MAJOR PARTY, PUT THE GREENS LAST ALWAYS.

Weren't Democrats freaking out over green voters in the midterm?

Probably, if I remember correctly last few elections have been big for the green parties because people have been getting fed up with the Democrats and conservatives

>”muh rights”

Appreciate your low murder rate and lack of mass shootings. If you want a gun you can put in the commitment to legally get one.

>inb4 gun grabber shill

I like my car and my guns. I need a drivers license. I would be willing to get a gun license.

fag

>Muh driver's license

Attached: guns like cars.png (1217x246, 58K)

Let's see
>driver license
You're driving a 2,000-6,000lb block of metal that can go up to 200mph (depending on the vechile not everyone drives a Honda civic) and.depending on countless variables including other drives and road conditions accidents and deaths can occur
>guns
Metal stick that shoots a peice of lead up to 3,000fps or so and requires some skill to effectively use and Is only lethal with intent or if you're an idiot but is much more controllable than a vechile
Yeah get fucked bootlicker a drivers license is reasonable but if you're not a nigger or fucking stupid no one will die from you handling a gun

One is also a constitutional right and the other is a privilege.

>the Second Amendment didn't actually mean anything until Heller v. DC
Whoa... you've really bluepilled me.

You don't need a driver's license to own a car, dipshit, only to drive it on public roads. What you do with it on private property is none of the Government's concern.

>inb4 gun grabber shill
Nope, you're a fudd friend. Worse than any gun grabber: if you're an American, I hope you get red flagged

This also, on a side note if cars were around back then and were essential for life as guns were then do you think itd be included in the constitution or just ignored?

9th amendment, boi. The right to easy access to contemporary transportation is consitutitionally protected even if it's not written down.

Guess that's true, although as other anons have stated roads are technically government property so they technically have the right to treat it as a privalleage and requiring licenses no matter how some may feel about that, however I camt blame them, licensed people can hardly drive as It is

Time travel existing means it exists throughout all of time.
Either it exists forever or never at all.

Wait if it works on Primer rules and you can only go back to the time that you started the machine?

Then God help anyone alive when it exists.

You would have to learn how to play their game.
>win support by empathizing with the general public
>gather together like minded people and coordinate a long term political strategy
>make a shot ton of money like Warren Buffet
>buy the shit out of media companies
>you now control public media
>win support of a few politicians and use them as proxies
>use Al Capone style tactics to gain impunity
>now you have political and economic power
>manipulate the people with a national emergency to create an emergency one-party state
>they appoint you as head of state
Congratulations, now you can get your SLRs back and make your country an annex of the free world.

>that pic
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you a pristine illustration of confirmation bias. Some just-world paddy shits never grow up, do they?

Daily reminder. You're so cucked you need a licence for a stab/bullet proof vest. Even the UK lets you own that shit no questions asked as a civilian.

I like nearly everything the guy says, but I highly doubt he will actually get elected.

He only needs a handful of seats to make a huge difference in a minority government.

What if it exists forever but only after the first timeline invents it, and we're in the timeline that hasn't yet AKA the first and we're running on a bad movie plot's rules?

Based.

Voting doesn't get freedoms back once lost friendo

You don't know the Australian political system. If we can force a merchant Banker PM and his merchant banker party to publicly end thier careers via a Royal commission into the banks we can make them do anything

Bombs away, Mr. McVeigh!

Here’s what you can do, and you might not like the answer because it’s hard and it’s taking time. Carefully identify coworkers and friends who you can talk to about shooting in a positive and sensible way, and introduce them to shooting at a range. Make sure you’re safe and not autistic, make sure they’re safe, and make sure they have a good time. With luck, one or two out of three will like it enough to get a licence, and then you encourage them to do the same. We have 1.8m licensees in this country now and numbers are growing, not only that but the proportion of shooters who are young, not SSAA fudds, and who are interested in guns cos they’re fun, is increasing as part of that number- and a lot of those younger ones weren’t around for 1996 either. With luck and time, we are growing big enough to be a slab of the electorate who will need listening to.

You’re not getting semis any time soon but we’re chipping away slowly.

Australia has a had long and rich history of bowing down to its government. It goes way beyond guns...

Bombs away, Mr. McVeigh!

The thing about Australian gun control is that it more or less works.
Terrorists are down to using BBQ gas canisters to try and kill people instead of shooting them and nobody has been mugged at gunpoint in decades.

For this reason (plus the advantage of natural borders), gun control in Australia is a vastly different concept to gun control in many other countries.
Now take into account that Australia is very, very conservative when it comes to the idea of people having rights against/in spite of the governments that rule over them, and you have a problem.
Start with rights, begin with the UDHR. Once you can build an idea that everyone has rights, you can start to argue about rights to bear arms.

Bombs away, Mr. McVeigh!

oh gee too bad the government worker in charge of processing your license application is vehemently anti-gun and doesn't want you to get one and keeps failing your application.
