if you could only have one knife for the rest of your days, what would you choose?

Blade is too big and unweildy.
The 105 is more slender and a better all around knife. Been carrying one on my belt fro 15 years now.

My humble, durable, always-useful Kershaw Skyline.

If I could have one folder and one fixed, the fixed would be my Cold Steel Kobun.

You don't need to spend big money to get a great knife.

>TFW /v/ had a FF thread about swords and penis compensation and clouds/zacks sword was the definition of small penis while Sephiroths was a true mans sword

I already use my huntsman pretty much every day, I'd feel naked without it.

My friend gave me a kershaw shuffle 2 about 2 years ago and its been getting daily use, it is suprisngly strong for such a small thing

A drop-point, fixed 4" blade knife.
It doesn't matter who made it as long as it's not a piece of shit, but that's what you'd want for a not-too-big-not-too-small, do-it-all knife.

mattis is a coward who quit his post.
Supporter of trans Marines and a kike puppet extraordinaire.
The entire Corps, active and retired are ashamed of him. It is ok to disagree but to quit and stomp off like a spoiled brat is unforgivable.
Fuck him.

Thanks, I just ordered one. It will be here in a week. Nice knife, just what I was looking for.

This one maybe, if I have to already own it.

Or one of these, if I can have any axe as well.

Case 5" skinner-hunter.

Grandpa got it right on the first try. These things are perfect all purpose knives.

Awesome. Enjoy!

Does the folding knife even get sharp? Not trying to be rude. The scissors are okay for hippie busting

Got any good links for this story? Never heard of the guy

>Obligatory Texan response related.

Honestly, if anyone here is interested in Bowie knives for practical usage instead of use as a showpiece, I'd seriously recommend the Marine Raider. It's practically impossible to break, is easy to take care of, and if you hate the black, tacticool look of it there's a guy online who posted a VERY detailed guide with pictures on removing the black finish and replacing the handle with with a leather one.

They're beautiful knives, and pretty damn okay for heavy outdoor use and skinning medium sized and larger game.

>22 oz.
>10 in blade
>kraton handles
>1095 carbon

desu that knife is pretty garbage. If it had better handles to absorb shock and was 3-4 inches shorter it'd be a lot more useful. It's basically a cold steel meme knife in its current state.

Also, 10 inch combat knife for skinning? Do you even hunt? That's absurd.

I do hunt. Are your hands seriously so shaky that you can't skin and butcher a hog with a large knife?

I came here to agree with you.
My work is done.

Define sharp.
I can definitely get it to paper cutting level, doesn't hold an edge for very long but sharpens very quickly, shaving sharp probably not.

But not cheap weebshit

Success!!!!

Damn, i dont like that handle. Sorry

Shaving sharp is retarted and should be saved for razors anyway. Thanks.

Agree with you on that, but folk always use that as the golden standard so that's what I always tell them, honestly don't see any practical situation in which you need a knife that sharp.

Maybe something like the coldsteel 4 max.

Bascially a largish folder that is so strong that it can do things fixed blades are usually used for, but it can be carried in a pocket.
