Because it's bought by desk pilots and not soldiers. Try aiming your rifle with the filter on both sides and see how accurate you are.

The reality is CBRN is not going to ever be used in combat.

>Fabric rips a small hole .

Also you wear a whole other set of clothes under that.

Try doing stuff in it. Like breathing. Or even walking around

The filter can be rotated 180 degrees so it does not obstruct as much, or removed and just 1 filter used for short periods of time.

Implying that all CBRN respirators have filters on both sides

The bongs are the only country that have actually used their CBRN kit for real in modern times.

The marines just announced a new dedicated CBRN response team.

If youve ever ran around with a promask on, you'd know that taking away one of two filters would be extra shitty. It's like breathing through a straw

The army has a dedicated MOS for CBRN, idk if the Marine corps does as well, but they are pretty useless and when you do CBRN training it's pretty fuckin awful and you realize quickly how fast people would start dying. Hole in your suit? Dead. Fall in a puddle? Dead. You don't have the proper canteen caps? Dehydrate and die. Don't decon properly? Dead. Out for more than a couple hours? Some chemical agents eat through your suit and you die.

I'm willing to risk all that in return for some fuckin sweet urban BDUs

Real talk. Have you ever done PT in CBRNE gear at any MOPP level OP?

GSR was specifically designed to make this possible. Nice to see that you've never worn one.

Don't yell at him. I'm actually supprised it works, I thought you're suppose to take one filter off for shooting. Nice.

Btw, what's the name of that awsome mask that looks like one giant droplet-shaped visor?

Wtf, are Estonians still using that shit?

> t. Someone who’s never had to wear cbrn/mop gear

>muffled laugh

Yep, the bulk of troops are issued GP-5s and the like from old Soviet civil defense stockpiles.

Because it hides weak jawlines and ugly faces.

>fighting dirty
fuck, why even wear the armor at that point? you rip that suit on anything, or if you fuck up your tape job, you're already fucked, and it's not like anyone's gonna come get your ass.
I'd almost rather have a 7.62x39 rip my lung out than puke it up due to VX.

> SQUAD

Try practicing shooting with a mask on. Now run with one on. Seriously. You're gonna be panting like a motherfucker even if you are a cardio junkie. And shooting with one on? You have to literally adapt a completely different shooting technique just to get a decent cowitness. It's a goddamn mess. If you have access to one, tho? I recommend trying it.

>OP talks about the looks of gear
>Complain that it is hard to do PT
Are you retarded?

People who've actually worn it, hate it. People who've never had to wear it, like the way it looks.

>WE'LL
>KICK
>YOUR
>ASS!

And? Things can be pretty shit to wear, but still look good.
Ask any female about most of their wardrobe, especially high heels.

please stop being such a faggot

You were being a faggot calling OP out on irrelevant things though. You could have just said 'Yes it looks good, sadly it is horrible to do things in'.

>Cross Dresser Identified.

It's hot as fuck in that thing. When I ETS'd, I kept a real world CBRN kit, never before opened. Where can I sell it?

ebay?

You're a never-served retard shut the fuck up.

Done a CBRN Specialist course not long ago, and my new favorite sport is Chernobyl Soccer.
