Decocker

i always hit the decocker mistaking it for the slide release. it just takes some more time and practice im sure but hand me a sig and it never fails

I need more but I'd rather have more rifles

>i always hit the decocker mistaking it for the slide release.
On what fucking gun? You better not be referencing OP's pic because jesus christ if you manage to find your way to the top of the slide on accident looking for the slide release, you might want to try looking down the barrel instead.

Anyone have experience mounting a light on the 3.6 inch verson?

Taste

What handgun should I look into getting next? Im thinking between $500-650 and leaning towards something in .40 S&W.

The P99 is a DA/SA striker so it needs a decocker like user said

Attached: sidewards.jpg (1200x1800, 807K)

damn Burt, how do you get handgats with based serial #s?

I always shoop my serials because I'm a Paranoid Paul

Attached: thinguards.jpg (2000x1333, 390K)

well thats a let down
was the P7 worth it?

I got experience with mounting streamlight.

Does the .4" shorter barrel help that much with concealment? I imagine a shorter grip would help more.

It's more comfortable at least.

>was the P7 worth it?
It's definitely worth what I paid, but it's definitely NOT worth what it's worth today. P7 prices are insulting, frankly.

Attached: p7 guts.jpg (2400x1600, 631K)

It’s just to help with AIWB slightly.

I want a double stack shield that i can mount a weapon light to. I like the way my shield shoots and i like the faster cycle rate

That's exactly what the M&p9c is. Smoler than a compact. Larger than a sub-compact. It was a double stack shield before the shield was even on the market.

What about this?
Its even made by S&W

wood and slotted grip screws

Anyone got a dui here? Did you lose your funs? Asking for a fren

I went to a gun auction in Bumfuckville, USA and there were at least 4 rednecks unironically open carrying HI-Points.

What will you be listing in the buy/sell/trade thread?

New wheelboi today. Gun shop guy wanted to buy it off me as I was picking it up.

Hey Burt
(You)

Attached: 2019-01-13_19.35.38.jpg (3208x1560, 2.52M)

I like the newer guns and have spent time and money renting it at the range so I’ve already invested 20% of the guns cost making my decision, plus that one is not as reliable

Do the light raila stick out past the frame? I have an O-Light pl2 valkerie on the way

wood grips

New VZ Grips code for anyone who wants it
Enjoy 15% off all handgun grips
Code: SHOTSHOW2019

I don't know about that but I don't think the PL2 is going to fit on the 3.6" Compact. It JUST BARELY fits on my 4" Compact, pic related, but only on the third notch, and only with the Glock adapter which gives it half a millimeter more room, and the back of the light rubs against my trigger guard so it's still not really fitting properly. With one notch less room on the rail, I don't think the PL2 will fit the 3.6" at all. Or the PL Mini either, it only fits on the last notch. I think you're going to need something like a TLR-7 or another extra micro light for the 3.6" Compact.

Ay brough. I'm sensing a theme

Hot!

You probably won't lose firearm rights from a DUI, but you can from felony DUI.

Those are nice full stop, even in .40. The weight helps make it more fun to shoot, and the triggers and sights are EXCELLENT.

I heard from some people that you're able to modify Beretta 92 mags to use them in the PX4. Has anyone ever done this? What did you do and how did it work out? PX4 mags are expensive af and harder to find.

Unfortunately that's never gonna work. PX4 mags are wider and deeper than 92 mags, so 92 mags will just flop around loose in the PX4 magwell and cannot engage the mag release.

But lucky you! There's a Shot Show sale on Beretta's website at the moment for 20% off $100 using code SHOT19 so PX4 17 round mags should be $23 each if you buy 4 or more of the unwrapped ones. That's not so bad right? Pic related.
berettausa.com/en-us/store/magazines/px4-series-magazines

But failing that they're always $28 from Greg Cote, this dude is awesome.

×2

Why is this $800?

Attached: 25642.jpg (529x400, 36K)

Just buy a used one for half the price

I just can't wait.

Neat, thanks!

Maybe it's discontinued or something, I never really understood how those things cost almost twice as much as a bigger, more complex locking block 92FS. Even the Browning BDA 380, which was LITERALLY a Beretta 84, cost less than the actual Beretta 84[XX].

Well, you can find them used for way less than $800 now. I wish you had been interested in them 6 months ago, you don't wanna know what they were selling for then.

It's gonna be great.™

Beretta 87 Cheetah, there's like one on gun broker for $828, where else should I look?

Arex Rex Zero 1 or save for the Delta

Oh I'm retarded and can't read.

There's an 87 Target for $550 on Armslist. No pics. Mildly suspicious.

There's a shitload on gunbroker but they're not cheap, or won't be by the time the auctions end I imagine.

idk sorry

Hey Bort
I want a Tomcat, but I would prefer something in .380 or 9x19
Is there any metal framed pistol similar to it that any reputable manufacturer makes, or is this a lost cause?

How's the Jericho? Would you recommend it?

handguns are for poor people who can't afford buying an HK rifle so they think their $400 HK police trade in pistol gives them the right to become a critic

Just picked this b*tch up today. Feels nice as frig. Didn't shoot it bc sick and not sure if the dot comes zeroed from the factory.

Attached: 20190122_190147.jpg (2268x2641, 3.18M)

Not him but I have an old slide safety Jericho. I like them but I mainly got it because of the space cowboy meme.
They're CZ75s with different ergos and looks, and less aftermarket. Not a bad gun by any means, and a fine shooter, just not too special outside of its looks.
Get it if you like the looks or are a filthy weeb, and are willing to put up with the lack of aftermarket compared to a CZ.

Yeah absolutely, Seecamp makes itty bitty little .380s, probably one of the smallest, maybe smaller than a Tomcat.

Other stuff around the same size as a Tomcat are the Rorhbaugh R9S in Real 9mm NATO, 380S and Remington RM380, basically all the same gun. Also the Magnum Research Micro Desert Eagle aka ZVI Kevin ZP98. The Sig P238 and Springfield 911 I think are a tiny bit bigger than the rest, especially compared to the Seecamp, but I don't have either for direct comparison.

If metal isn't so important of course there's the Ruger LCP/II, Glock 42, Keltec P3AT, Beretta Pico and Kahr CW380.

That should be enough from which to pick a manufacturer or design you like!

>Didn't shoot it bc sick and not sure if the dot comes zeroed from the factory.
Well how else ya gonna zero it but to shoot?

I just bought this for my first gun.

If you want another mag buy this

aimsurplus.com/cz82-83-factory-12rd-magazine-holster-and-mag-pouch-carry-kit

A CZ82/83 mag is 20 bucks and that holster includes a mag.

>aimsurplus.com/cz82-83-factory-12rd-magazine-holster-and-mag-pouch-carry-kit
It comes with 3 magazines but I'll keep this in mind

Thanks, I’m getting a 4 inch then

Walther PPS with SC

Walther PPS with RMSC

You can never have enough mags. Also $20 is worth it for the mag alone, the holsters are a boner.

Good firstgun, Hitler

Burt does the Olight ever fall off when shooting it?

Mine haven't after 200 rounds, is that a thing? I guess I have to look it up tomorrow

>bought talon grips
>don't have a hair dryer to heat it up enough to form it right
Never thought there would be a day when my bald ass would have to go out and buy a hair dryer

Anyone know what the dots on the P220 locking insert mean?
I have a P220 stainless and it has 5 dots on both sides, but online it seems like 4 dots is latest version.

I also want to convert to 10mm, but I have no idea where to get a 10mm locking inset.

just hold a lighter near it for a few seconds

That doesn't sound like a good idea. I'd rather just buy a cheap hair dryer and do it right

You can use the stove, that's what I've been using since I loaned out my heat gun. Turn it to medium-high and rotate the handle of the gun evenly over the heat like a rotisserie, then squish it in with your fingers and grip. Repeat until you're happy. You can use heat to drift edges that are slightly off as well.

No idear. Maybe some kind of height, angle or tolerance variance they can use to mate a barrel to a slide? Oh I guess I did have an idear

Get a 10mm glock 40 friend. I'm telling you, they are a little piece of shooting heaven.

Attached: IMG_20181205_000545_018.jpg (1080x1080, 129K)

Ps you can shoot .40 sw in a 10mm if you want.

I'll be disappointed if you waste your time doing that though.

I really want a half dozen of the new Hi-Point

Are you happy you got a Hudson before they went out of business?

Anyone carrying a CZ P-01 in half cock? Is it ok to do so?

p sure it decocks to half cock specifically for you to carry it like that.

Makes sense to me. I was reading on some forums saying it was a no-no, but the manual says it’s just as safe as any other hammer position.

How are the ergonomics on a Zastava m57?

forums are worse than wikipedia

I wish they'd chop that bitch down to 3" so I could have a doublestack shield.

A double stack shield would imply keeping the length of the shield which the 9c does not.

20.8 ounces for the shield. 22 for the m&p9c. Speaks for itself.

Didn't wanna fuck around tryna zero it while sick. Would've been torture with shaky hands

> forums are worse than wikipedia
[citation needed]

For me. Its going to be a Glock 48 as soon as Raven gets around to stocking there Morrigan for it. Dat thinness.

Attached: glock48.jpg (1200x817, 233K)

Im on misdemeanor probation for a dui, one of the conditions of my probation is to not own or possess or carry any weapons.

the P7 is a collectible now. no more will ever be made. NEVER AGAIN.
the the P7 is worth waaaay more than the prices today. it is literally a collector's investment.

>modern
you're not wrong

Attached: IMG_20190120_215558849-1.jpg (1130x1500, 743K)

Burt is a retard, just ignore him.

do you get paid for this?
if no, why not?
you should.

he already has a .22 revolver, burt. I think a small .32 or a .380 ACP would be a better option to round out his collection
>walther produced .32 ACP PPK when?

>CZ82
NOICE
>9mm browning
wait a second...
>CZ [83]
yikes. wtf. why?

there are lots of very small .32 ACP guns, but what are some larger ones?

what distance?

hudson went out of business?
didn't they just release the H9A?

maybe he already shoots 380

are you in canada? you better be. the Glock 48 is absolute trash

>my first gun
>already shoots .380
with what fucking gun? LTR
