Very traditional I like it. Love wood brass and steel. A lot of fixed blades. I have no use of a fixed blades unless /out/. Folding is too convenient. Close up of the bone+Damascus looking one?

That pic is of the ones at my cabin... I can try to dig and find some but quite honestly it was a gift knife from a buddy who started making em... It's really not all that good. It uses a interwebs blank

what are those blue handled one Wit the 1/4'' hex bits called ?

Kershaw Select Fire

Mine are actually DHgate "Kershaw" 1920 and they fucking kick ass. They are mega trip savers for when doing HVAC.

>Tfw no Buck 184
>Tfw no gold/ivory kriegsmarine dagger
Was tempted to get the Rothco "Ramster" (the fuck kind of name is this?) while I wait several decades to inherit my father's 184 and other goodies, but the giant fucking TAIWAN stamp on those ruin it.

what type balisong is the black one? kinda looks like the benchmade logo

Dank yu ,those feel great.

The tanto one? It's actually blue, and the logo is an eagle - got it from DHgate for $16. It's the only junk-ish balisong I bought from there. They overtightened the safe handle pivot screw, so it didn't flip nicely at all, but it was easily correctable with a torx wrench. I don't recommend it for anything other than looks (and to get the black nylon pouch that comes with it, which you could use to carry other, better knives). The handles don't contact in the closed position, and due to the shape towards the bottom end, leaves a bit of gap which I didn't expect, so it makes flipping feel somewhat funky IMO. It's very light which is nice, but feels and likely is brittle. The portion of the handle around the pivoting pins is extremely thin. I guess if you're interested and can still find it, I found it under the name "JL-07".

Side note - was going to look for more balis to collect on DHgate, but it seems like nearly all of them disappeared. Anyone else confirm? I think I heard there was a huge crackdown in China over them after my last purchase last year, but I'm not sure.

Help me, I want to make a WW1 esque trench knife. I think forging a triangular blade shouldn't be too hard, but I want to cast the handle into it so I can pin the back end of the tang into it. anyone have any good casting techniques for cheap?

Did I just fuck my blade up? Here is now a slight belly at the heel of my knife blade. And I think the bevel isn’t square judging by the tip of the blade. Any tips?

Do you drive a silver Civic or Corolla?

Jow Forums, I need a Kukri tactical sheath.
Where do I find one?
Everything is flimsy thin plastic you get with a factory made Kukri or a hand made peice of Indian wood easy tare "leather" sheath on the market.

Ruikee has bad components and too many at that.

All this leather and yet I imagine none of you apply leather oil to upkeep any of the sheaths.
Minimize and upkeep.

What are you referring to? I've been using this knife for about 6 months and its held up excellently so far in comparison to previous knives of mine.

>Looking to get new fixed blade knife
>Come across Toor Knives
>Wow this looks like a really nice knife
>$395
>Average price for their other knives is $250-$375
>They sell out regularly

How do you justify spending so much money on a knife? Whats the most you've spent on a knife Jow Forums?

Uton

What type of knife should I get for fastest reliable deployment?

What are you doing with it

What are good brands? Is Puma good?

Very.... Only complaint is that the steel has a absolutely redicoulus hardness on the Rockwell scale and thus is not flexible and is hard to sharpen and stuff but will hold a edge for basically forever

But the knife will last you 2 or 3 lifetimes

Self defense

I mean for puma is not really a way to go for hunting... But some I can definitely recommend are

koa magnum boar hunter with a kydex sheath

Spyderco Emerson opener with a signet ring

Extrema Ratio 0165 Glauca J1 Folder

Extrema ratio mamba

Benchmade socp *personal favorite*

Just some recommendations.... I have experience with all of the above and will vauch my word that they are good knifes and are flawless for their intended purpose.... Also usefulness depends greatly on what you are trained in and how often and how concealed it needs to be
