Drugs on the Battlefield

In the event of another large scale war, how feasible is it that the military would implement drugs that would make soldiers lose any fear of danger and make them not feel any pain?

Drugs lost us Vietnam, prove me wrong.

Yeah at home because of dude weed lmao hippies

And those using drugs on deployment.

No, guerilla warfare lost us vietnam.

No, pervitin did a good job.

That's easy, just napalm and Agent Orange the fuck out of their agriculture and resources.
The real problem was high motherfuckers who couldn't shoot a barn door.

Hard drugs and war go hand in hand so I wouldn't be suprised if the production of morphine and and painkillers triples in the countries that would go through war

Im not talking about morphine(medics don't even carry the stuff on them anymore) or Ibuprofen, I mean shit like Flakka or cocaine which has been recorded to make users feel "invincible" and completely eliminate any pain whatsoever.

Don't your soldiers need swivel? If they all feel like Jack Churchill, but aren't Jack Churchill, then you've got a lot of dead fodder.

where do you think meth originated numbnuts?
google it

>drugs that would make soldiers lose any fear of danger
That is not useful, the goal is to kill the enemy, not to have your own soldiers die from being oblivious to danger.
Various forms of performance enhancing drugs and steroids however would probably be used, as well as meth-amphetamines to keep people useful for longer periods of time without sleep.

If you act like a madman, you become one.
People like Mad Jack, Audie Murphy or Leo Major just fucking went in: the one thing they have in common is not giving a single fuck. There's some luck involved, but if you remove fear from the equation the probability to succeed against impossible odds goes from zero to one.

There needs to be a rapid wound-healing drug or a pain inhibitor

>how feasible
a sizeable percentage of students take speed just to marginally increase their GPA, what do you think?

>meth-amphetamines
The meth parts is what you want to avoid isn't it? Just regular amphetamines would do the trick. Steroids are already in wide spread use by most high speed dude if you are to believe some stories and drug testing is infrequent or they don't give shit; and honestly why would they if operators physical capabilities are higher than without them (who gives a shit their balls don't work anymore when they're 60).

Ive been debating on whether or not to score some meth for my bug out bag
the just in case SHTF kinda supplement

makes sense.

There are safer stimulants in use than amphetamines. I've heard that pilots on long flights are given them. However, the longer you stay awake the lower your cognitive abilities fall. You won't notice how bad your reaction times fall nor how how compromised your judgement becomes.

this was my inspiration for keeping a bag of meth in my SHTF bag.

Here are some hot takes for you people.
There is insane illegal drug manufacturing of all types happening right now in Syria.
The market in eastern eu is flooded with fakes all coming from Syria via Turkey imported here.

Most people in these conflict zones especially mercenaries are high 24/7.
Mind you these are people that after their work is done go back to their daily lives like nothing has happened.

Drug usage especially in Muslim fighters is alarming.

You mean alcohol? There's a reason it's called liquid courage.

It also has some pretty stiff disadvantages.

Absolutely and utterly based

the burdon of proof is on you.

not like it matters they are only really given to b2 pilots and if they ever have to actually use them in their designed role they won't have much to come back and land at anyway.

and the "dude weed lmao" were right

this, not a fucking valid reason to stay in vietnam.

Socialised medicine is extremely inefficient and costs more per capita than private. It also prevents a beautiful thing called competition, which causes prices to fall, service standards to rise and innovation to occur.
Socialism is stagnation.

>Causes prices to fall
As they have only been going up

Oh I like this catagory,

What is a monopoly for 300?

What is "Pay for Delay"?

Who are the retarded american consumers who pay corporations to fuck them in the ass?

t. lives at homes with his parents

>I can't take care of myself and so the government should

Big kek.

I'd love to see absolutely any credible citation for this

>I spent all my money on MLP toys and anime pillows now I cant afford dick so government should pay REEEEEEE

Its called Odd Ball around my parts, meth-heroin mixture. Zero pain.

>He thinks its okay for a doctor to charge 200dollars for 20 minutes of his time or for a box of aspirin to be charged 50dollars by a hospital

Yeah really you cant be more of a cuck if you think this is ok

Drugs are a weapon, you retard.

I dont think you've done coke before. If I was getting shot at the last thing I'd want is cocaine. Maybe meth/speed for non-combat purposes. Like doing 24 hour patrols or something. Opiates or benzos would probably be better if you want someone to feel invincible during combat, but only for those who need it to function. Either way you'd have to use drugs very sparingly because they will quickly cause more harm than any benefit they may give with habitual use.

>competition
There is no competition in medicine. The patient has zero leverage.

because they'll die

>what are Go-pills?
>what are no-go-pills?
>what was meth?
>what is ketamine?
>what is better fighting through chemistry?

Dont forget the use of barbiturates user.

Pain and fear is needed on the battlefield

Yeah why wouldn't the military (or soldiers themselves) be fine dealong with the withdrawl and performance crash that comes from 60 days in austere conditions without a pharmacy worth of pills and shots

Modafinil would be a way better choice. I've got a couple dozen tabs of modafinil in my bag just in case I need to stay up for days on end

You can buy the real deal...?

During the west african civil wars in the 90s, the niggers used to mix cocaine with gunpowder and snort it before battle. Funny enough, the nitrogen in the nitrocellulose would actually help in their endurance, while everything else just fucked them up

>There's some luck involved, but if you remove fear from the equation the probability to succeed against impossible odds goes from zero to one.

There were literally millions of guys killed in WW2 doing Audie Murphy style shit. Same level of balls and all. He just was a winner of the 'Nothing hit me' lottery.

Anyone have the greentext of user's grandpa winning a medal while high on acid in vietnam?

seconding

Keep the expiration date in mind, user.

And permanently fuck up your frontal lobe, fucktard.

>And permanently fuck up your frontal lobe, fucktard
I'm not going to use them to cram for test you stupid nigger
