the modern US
The sheer amount of low risk ordnance we can drop on them is more than anything we used in Vietnam. And since these guys have no clue what the fuck guerrilla tactics are the spec ops of the US would be devastating.

What if it's a alternate dimension scenario where the entire US military is transported back in time to another dimension, and ends up where they are in our world but 80 years prior and they fight for whatever reason. That means no .223/5.56 ammo, no logistic base, and they're going up against one of the largest and experienced militaries in the world at the height of its industrial might.

the modern US army is built heavily around the lessons learned in WW2 and after regarding logistics and transport

the US army was even able to drive a huge armored column through sheer desert to attack a previously thought impenetrable area during the gulf war, a culmination of the 50 years since WW2
likewise, missile technology and submarine technology like modern subs which can spend 24/7 submerged would completely rip apart the merchant fleet with no threat of retaliation

Targetting equipment alone would win the war. Advanced calculations can be done in milliseconds to outgun naval weapons and modern guns have way higher range. Aviation is a Turkey shoot. There is literally no way for the WWII planes to compete with modern air power. The entire air power that served in the Pacific would be blown out of the sky by the full F-22 fleet from beyond the horizon. Anti-Air isn't capable of countering supersonic bombers or stealth bombers, meaning B-1Bs and B-2s could operate with impunity.

In land warfare, modern armor would out range and out maneuver every armored unit fielded by the allies. Sheer volume of fire would negate numbers advantages by infantry. Even if modern forces were outnumbered 10 to 1, gunners would be able to put more bullets down range than triple their numbers with BARs, Lewis guns, and M2s.

>And since these guys have no clue what the fuck guerrilla tactics are the spec ops of the US would be devastating

Not contesting the outcome because it's a dumb scenario. A modern UK, France or even Italy could beat the ww2 axis or allies such is the technological leap.

But guerrilla warfare and special operations were certainly going on in WW2. Most notably with the SAS in north africa raiding airfields in the night an destroying more planes in a few minutes than the RAF had managed in a month. Then there's frogmen mining harbours and placing limpits on ships, special forces jumping behind enemy lines to capture important people and eliminate targets.

The SAS' objectives since WW2 have not changed

1. Gather information
2. Contact and support local fighters
3. Direct action to inhibit the enemy

Sure it's easier with night-vision and modern communications. But to claim they have no clue is wrong.

>Advanced calculations can be done in milliseconds to outgun naval weapons and modern guns have way higher range.
Modern naval guns would be almost completely useless against ww2 era armored vessels. I would be honestly surprised if any modern US naval ship carried armor piercing shells in their locker. What would be useful against smaller combatants would be anti ship missiles. However from what we have seen of historical AShM performance, multiple hits would be required to sink even the lightest surface combatant with a competent damage control crew.

>There is literally no way for the WWII planes to compete with modern air power.
Catch them on the ground, same way they dealt with contemporary jets. If there is one thing that the modern day US military isn't up to par with, mainly for doctrinal reasons, it's short range ground based air defense.

>The entire air power that served in the Pacific would be blown out of the sky by the full F-22 fleet from beyond the horizon.
I can't tell you exactly how many aircraft served in the pacific theatre, but I do know that 47,000 fighters and light bombers were built for the Navy and USMC, who primarily operated in the pacific. And you are saying that the 120 or so combat capable F-22s would be able to deal with even a tenth of this number?

>Anti-Air isn't capable of countering supersonic bombers or stealth bombers, meaning B-1Bs and B-2s could operate with impunity.
You are aware that most aircraft that were lost in Vietnam, including supersonic fighter bombers, was from optically guided AAA.

You really don’t understand modern combat do you?

well 1945 USA has been shown to actually use their nuclear weapons so i'll go USA-Russia-Hyper-Power

Modern US would just put cruise missiles down the chimneys of the Kremlin, Parliament, and WW2 Congress and every other site of importance.

user we have global surveillance and reach that could only be dreamed of in 1940. We could do sat and high altitude surveillance unimpeded. We could do night time attacks with nightvision. We can see through smoke with thermals. We have guided munitions and weapons that would chew through pretty much any armor made in the war.

And then we have the fact that a single nuclear sub could prowl the english channel and dump the odd jar of sunshine from London to Moscow

>useless against ww2 era armored vessels
Our subs can go deeper and are far more stealthy than ww2 era vessels. No concern. They'll die to 2000 lb bombs or torpedos

>catch them on the ground
Thats really hard to do if you dont know where the airfields are. On the other hand, we have sat maps of the whole planet, and our radar is much more advanced. They cant really hide a fleet of b17s from us.

>47,000 fighters and bombers
Get killed before they are born when b1s and b2 level the factories, the strips, and things like growlers have an absolute field day jamming 1940 radio equipment, chucking HARM at anything emitting radio waves (making them unable to communicate) and the DIA/NSA has shuddering orgasms at breaking 1940s cryptology (which we presumably still have some codes from). Meanwhile digital codes are basically invulnerable to a civilization thats collective computer power is less than your phone.

We havent had to use them. Iraq wasnt exactly a threat on the scale of Japan, where an invasion would cost hundreds of thousands.

Basically.

A large majority of the Modern US military would immediately defect or refuse to fight the WW2 US military.
That's our family and grandparents.

WW2 Allies win.

>Who would win?
Israel. The answer is always Israel.

>I don't understand hypotheticals because my parents didn't push me to have a social childhood

This is the only scenario where WW2 america wins. But really all that means is that we tag team the Nazis, Japan, and then the US-US-UK meme team rolls the Red Army so hard it looks like the ww1 Eastern Front 2: atomic boogaloo edition

I'm answering it hypothetically, you idiot.
I don't believe that we'd take up arms in any scenario against the Greatest Generation, our kin, for any reason.
We'd sooner kill ourselves than fight our grandparents.

Post a few more wojaks to show me how you're feeling.
I'm sure that'll make you feel better.

Just it let it all flow out! Throw in a pepe or two if you want.

Im sorry, were the nazis not the primary power of the Axis?

Compared to modern aircraft, WW2 aircraft are just angry target drones.
Compared to modern armor, WW2 tanks might as well be armored troop transports.
Compared to modern radar and stealth, WW2 radar might as well be some guy with binoculars.
WW2 subs are just boats that occasionally go under water compared to modern subs that only have to surface to get food for the sailors.
Compared to modern information equipment, WW2 commanders might as well be issuing orders in a vacuum.
Even comparing small arms, the average soldier was issued a high powered large rifle cartridge that was effective out to 1000yrds and wieghed 8.5-9.5lbs compared to a modern small arms were the guns are not just smaller, but more accurate and lighter. Modern soldiers are even equipped on average with a gun that can shoot full auto.
This is not even bothering to mention not directly military technology, like medicine. I have also not even gone into non-conventional weapons. Think how easy it would be for modern US to release a new plague that it's citizens are already inoculated against and just watch the rest of the world just die off en-masse.

This whole scenario isn't even a fair fight. The modern US could take on the whole of the WW2 world (Allies, Axis and neutral powers combined).

You guys think the Jews are obsessed with control the world when in reality you retards are just obsessed with the Jews.

>tfw we roll out the mumps bio weapon and polio bio weapon and laugh because we're immune except for a few antivax groups

This. /thread

>we're immune except for a few antivax groups
Trips confirm, nothing of value lost

The modern US has helicopter, jet fighters, stealth bombers, and modern tanks, they'd win hand down. The US Naval Base at Guam could probably beat the WW2 allies.

The US military has literally billions of rounds on-hand already. We don't just run out to walmart or place an order on slickguns when we get low, you fucking retard.

URAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

>modern auto cannons on light armored troop carriers can pierce the heaviest tanks of ww2 and their atgm can shoot further than ww2 tech can even engage. M1 abrams would be invincible and out range everything
>even a a10 warhog could carry more weight in bombs than the b17 flying fortress except it could start hunting down and killing planes after dropping them. Imagine what a couple B1s could do. Nothing in ww2 arsenal could shoot down any modern jets
>all modern infantry has auto loading high capacity intermediate caliber rifles or belt fed MGs, body armor that could stop any ww2 era bullets, and night vision against guys with 8 round autos and bolt actions using flares to light the night
How could you think this would even be a fight?

>The sheer amount of low risk ordnance we can drop on them is more than anything we used in Vietnam
It worked out great back then too!

T. Jew

Just tomahawk missile the shit out of their main forces and tanks, and then bring in the ground combat force to come in and wipe them out.

Let's see
WW2 Allies would win by sheer quantity
Britain realistically has naval superiority
Russia provides the cannon fodder
WW2 US has many, many planes
And Washington is only a short distance in land.

>Modern UK
Would get fugged by the WW2 USN alone, let alone the entire allies. The numbers just don't support it. You would have some pretty epic lopsided air duels before eventually their airforce broke down from literal overuse and the isles get carpet-bombed by B-29s.

> And since these guys have no clue what the fuck guerrilla tactics
Wait do you think that guerrilla tactics didnt exist pre vietnam?

WW2 allies would drop The Bomb on us and we would surrender before we even had figured out the ethics and RoE for the engagement.

>britain realistically has a naval superiority
>what are the 11 insanely armored, armed, and guarded aircraft carriers we have today

Attached: thatmakesmehitthedesk.png (240x240, 24K)

WW2 navies keep getting sunk by subs that they can not see (hint the first sign of the sub is when the torpedo hits a ship).
All those planes have nowhere to land after their runways are all destroyed from aircraft launched so far away that they have no chance at striking at their base.
The only thing you suggest that may have a chance is the sheer numbers of Russians that could be sacrificed. This only works if modern US decides to play by modern war rules. Even then, they would have no force projection ability.

Face it the technology difference is so big that any first or second world country of today could effectively fuck up the WW2 allies.

WW2 murica didn't have ICBMs yet, and we could just shoot their planes out of the sky before they got close to the coast.

>ywn sortie in a f-15E while flanked by grandpa in a p51 mustang
>ywn be in an abrams they keep calling a "super heavy tank" and screen for AT crews while you engage at several miles with night time thermals
>ywn hand your grandpa a magazine and listen to him complain that detachable mags are weird and people will lose them
>ywn save your great uncle with an apache gun pod and have him watch the IR footage

why live

>ywn watch your grandpa die in his prime and fuck the nurse only to become your own grandpa

>what if we changed the scenario so that the side I want to lose, loses? what happens then? do they lose?

brainlet

Get bent krauts, the commies can wait.

Except now every bomb we have has a precision targeting system and can reliably destroy with one what took a flight of b52s back then.

>What if it's a alternate dimension scenario where the entire US military is transported back in time into the middle of an active volcano, would they still win?

Attached: shit for brains brainlet.png (900x729, 129K)

A war like that wouldn't be fair for the WW2 side.

Attached: Abrams woods.jpg (3267x1838, 3.22M)

Pretty sure like five F-22s would win the whole war.

>an army full of atrophied twenty-somethings who barely survived childhood polio and Sahara-tier sandstorms, and whose formative years coincided with the depth of the Great Depression
>an army full of horribly inbred island deformities whose only redeeming quality is their innovative intelligence and espionage service
>a technologically inferior army that is 1000 times more horrible than the worst combination of the above two, partly because of the midget Georgian running the place

V.S.

>One army with a whole bunch of globally deliverable megaton-yield warheads and unparalleled logistics technology, one of whose soldiers weighs three times as much as any of his aforementioned WW2 counterparts

?

Someone finally posts the truth

>B-1Bs and B-2s wipe out every single critical target on the first day of the war
>war over

Kikes belong in the oven, get back in.
