My Fox has never had a single malfunction or issue in the 300~ rounds I put theough it since I got it last October. Any one who owns a Saiga, Arsenal or piece of crap WASR is doing themselves a HUGE injustice. Those are all absolutely dog shit guns compared to mine! Faggots with SLRs may try and and say their rifles are "just as good" but they arent fooling anyone! The polish may not have invented the AK47 but they perfected it! Look at my polished bolt carrier! Look at my tactical furniture and my amazing scope mount! This baby is ready to stomp all over shitty russian and Bulgarian rifles. You can even leave this one in the rain, the finish is soo nice! Fuck it, I'm taking the bait. A WASR blows all your gucci bullshit out of the water by virtue of being immortal and taking standard furniture/accessories right out of the box. It's a fucking AK, not a beauty pageant. If I wanted a nice rifle that I'm paying thousands of dollars for, I'd buy something stupid like a SCAR. As it is, the WASR works, it continues working, and it does the job of an Arsenal/Fox identically. The only thing it doesn't do is "MUH DIMPLES" for shitposting on a Mongolian basket weaving forum.

This. I had a WASR as my first semiauto rifle. Slapped Magpul furniture on it and steel magazines. Phenomenal performance from it. Killed targets and coyotes like nobody’s business. Eventually sold it to get an AR. Still have a SKS that I’m about to bubba so I still have something that eats steel 7.62

2- what is the cheapest mags I can get for an arsenal slr 106?

SLR because it's going to be better quality than the psak. I say this as I currently own a gen2 psak that is just fine and dandy. Worrying about mag prices the way you are makes you sound like a poor and 556 aks are gay as sin and you shouldn't get one of those. Stick with classics. For you that means 5.45

A little late here - I'm only about 900 rounds into my WBP but I am very, very glad I made the purchase. Prior to this I have owned a SLR and a WASR. The SLR was pretty enjoyable but had an awful trigger and canted sight. Trigger on the WBP is smooth and sights are alighned. The WASR has been amazing but it's always been grumpy about certain magazines and had a rear dust cover that required some aggressive filing to fit properly. The WBP likes every mag I've tried (pmag, xtech, bake, steelies, etc.) and... actually has a really tight dust cover. Nothing's perfect I guess. As of right now - I'd say go for it if you're looking to spend a little more on an AK. AKOU likes it and the posters I see here and on files are reporting good experiences.

I ran a Zhukov for a long time and loved it but then got one of those Ace stock adapters because they're stupid strong. Unfortunately the adapter + stock + folding mechanism = a gorillian pounds. Thinking of switching back to Zhukov to save weight.
Are there any good side folding stocks with adjustable length of pull that fit a standard AKM rear trunnion? I love the Zhukov but it's not "soldier-proof" strong. I have a pet-peeve against AR stocks on AKs, do I just need to nut up and chop the rear tang off of my Saiga so I don't have to have a bulky external receiver block?
