well the south at the least is former confederacy.
Missouri and KN had sympathies and Missouri even left the union (lincoln didn't recognize the state government as legitimate).
>the oddballs though are
Texas, Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, and Florida
>100% southern are
Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee
this is hard to refute, but anyway
>Florida
it is southern in the northern parts. South florida is less southern and more of a coastal culture as well as an island culture with spics.
>Virginia
the entire state is southern except the following:
Manassas, Loudon, Prince William, Alexandria, Fairfax, Arlington, Manassas Park, and for good measure Norfolk and some surrounding areas.
the rest of the state is southern by most accounts. Stafford has a big rebel flag next to 95. it pisses off the DC fags so much
(note, prince william does have the best ice rink out of VA, DC, and Maryland)
>texas
it is its own thing, but east texas i have heard is culturally southern
>KN and MO
it is split, culturally they act southern and can claim it, but it varies.
whether they are 'midwest', just ask to they want 'pop' or 'cola'
either way, southrons and midwesterners are culturally similar and get along well. one group just has a flag and more history, and arguably better food. if the usa was to balkanize, I feel the south and midwest and texas would form great relations.
as for cascadia/jefferson...i'd be wary
