Is your heart set on a Deagle? Keep in mind that its anywhere between 70c/round to 1.00/rd for .50AE, and only faggots buy guns to make them into safe queens. Bullpups are pretty fun memes, consider those. Personally, I'd go for a SW M500 if you want a magnum meme. If you do go for a Deagle, go full meme and try to get one in chrome or titanium gold.

I have a 4” 500, bought it for the lulz. Never purchased a factory round, shoot either bulk FMJ or big cast bullets that I make from wheel weights. Big bore handguns with a large case volume give you at least 15 commercial powders to use and work up loads with. There is a lot of room to work with. You can buy the thing and shoot the equivalent of mild 357 mag level recoil loads all the way up to cannon loads. A big part of the allure of this gun was the ability to dial in recoil and set goals for being able to manage and accurately make hits with the gun. I think of it like the ultimate close range stopping pistol. It is a lot of fun to feel the concussion and chest thump of the revolver going off, something that most people that look at them don’t understand. Hell, a lot of people never shot a big bore gun before, even a hot loaded 357. It is largely recreational for me, it doesn’t have to be serious. That said, I could confidently make hits with my medium cast loads from a tree stand and bag a deer within bow range. The heft of the gun and the compensator make it amazingly controllable.
If OP wants a deagle, let him go for it. I want one also. I like the stainless models because I’d be pissed if it ever got a nick or scratch, I’d want to be able to buff it out. You won’t be able to work up loads as much but a deagle is a pussycst compared to a small 44 magnum. The heft and gas/recoil system mitigate a lot of the bite.
