A kiloton is like the bare minimum you can make a nuclear weapon. The Tsar Bomba had a test yield of 57 megatons and a theoretical yield of 100 megatons. The reason they didn't test it with the full 100 megatons is because they thought it would not only kill the test pilots who dropped it (who barely escaped the blast anyways) and they also thought it would create enough fallout to probably kill hundreds of thousands of Soviet citizens in the area

A lasrifle/pistol is actually one of the most practical choices because of the powerpacks. You'd have a hitscan weapon with zero recoil that hits like a .50 and can be recharged from any energy source.
But my final answer has got to be the portal gun. It would have soooo much utility, and as long as I can see the moon then it's viable as a weapon too.
