I'M READY

Illumination shells being fired on both sides of the border. Locals report helicopter traffic and anti-aircraft missiles in the air. Air raid sirens have sounded in border towns.

Nothing to see here, it's the Colombians and some armed group shooting at each other.

And wouldn't we hear about a bunch of south american countries mobilising?

Don't you mean Mercenaries 2?

(Mercenaries POD was better)

Can't wait for all the Venezuelans impotently crying "yankee go home" in their shitty Spanish accents

He's referring to the actual military operation in Panama you mong

> yfw you realize most people under the age of 35 will think Rico Rodriguez single handedly took down Noriega.

CMANO literally just released a scenario showcasing a war between Colombia and Venezuela, nice.

>tfw probably fake news

I miss "muh scenario" threads

>the intel crab
Trusted source.

Can't this shit just kick off already

Attached: IMG_2295.jpg (540x960, 60K)

Why would this be anything like Panama when Venezuela, even with oil, has none of the geopolitical importance that Panama does

It won't unless one of the Venezuelan generals revolts and even than he would defect before shit got real. If only someone had some balls.

IT'S A BUNGLE IN THE JUNGLE

>anti-aircraft missiles in the air

what, just flying around?

Better than under water.

twitter.com/ELINTNews/status/1091685128710033408

I don't want to leave the jungle oh no no no

Bingo bango I don't want to leave the congo

I posted last night. Well a condition has been meet. Venezuelan government collapse has a better chance today.

Unconfirmed reports from an anonymous source claim this gunfire might possibly be from US forces

Better get buzzfeed to run a story on it.

Curious that Venezuela starts to blow up right as Syria winds down

I saw a summation of Venezuela's National Assembly/Supreme Court drama. It was only a matter of time. If any of that shit had gone down in a nuclear capable country, everyone in the G20 would have mobilised already.

If America went to war with Venezuela it would cause the biggest shitstorm since 'nam

>country that has a military significantly less scary then Iraq
>poor non-white country "being bullied by big meanie US" will have bleeding heart libs in an uproar
>maduro, despite being a commie, is significantly less of a bastard than say Saddam, and has more popular support in vuvuzela than Saddam ever had

If you thought Iraq was a shitstorm just wait. Shits about to get dicey.

>America went to war with Venezuela
That's not how this goes. They'll just pay off the military to back Guaido until new elections. Then you pump the country full of NGOs who push support at a less socialist, more pro-American president.

>It won't unless one of the Venezuelan generals revolts
So about that....

>lost air force
>every neighbor wants regime change
>people are aware that they are being exploited, regardless of side
>any measure of support for Venezuela is unreliable
>they are on our doorstep, not on the other side of the fucking world
It will be nothing like Vietnam. The only real issues will by the use of Volksturm like units by the Venezuelans and refugees.

Expect a new convoy of refugees on the southern border. And more welfare/healthcare for them.

Walking to the US from central america and walking from Venezuela are two very different things due to terrain. They could realistically do it if they drove but those who could afford to do that did so long ago. Any refugees will likely end up in Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina

Of course they'll do it. There's a whole bunch of them in the country already that have crossed illegally. Expect Soros and other """humanitarian""" orgs to provide buses/trains, again, and help them along the way with food & water.
They'll be in the US within 2 weeks.

Yea I seen the one AF general that did defect today but with my earlier comment if someone has some balls I mean full coup Pinochet style. It has a real chance of working if said general was willing to put his life on the line and deal with what would be huge international blowback mainly from the Russian mercs but Cubans have their own men on the ground and they just as good at assassination if not better.

>Pinochet style.
Oh muh benis

> Wanting a crackdown where free speech is banned, folk singers are tortured and murdered, instruments are banned, ideological economic purity comes before reality, 30% unemployment, and the abolition of public education
I feel like there are ways to replace socialism without requiring a Caudillismo-level full retard response in the opposite direction.

This is South America we are talking about here. Regardless of the economic model they are going to go full retard authoritarian regardless.

Is it bad that I want this to be true, a Brazilian coalition to unfuck Venezuela just because it'd be interesting?

Pinochet made one of the most prosperous SA states

BINGO BANGO BONGO HE’S SO HOPPY IN THE JONGLE

Pinochet's economic advisors mad it prosperous, you mean. His junta knew from the outset they had to find people who knew economic theory. And it still took over a decade for them to realize the Chicago Boys were ivory tower intellectuals who couldn't adjust Friedman's theories to match reality before they replaced them with people who could.

Also, the fucking LOCE act in the 90s was absolutely retarded and they are still trying to clean it up.

Compare Chile to Estonia and decide who did the better job liberalising their economy, even given their starting states.

>US sending aid 'at Guaidó's request'
>John Bolton: "Answering the call of President Guaido, the US is mobilizing and transporting humanitarian aid for the people of #Venezuela. I applaud the hard work of USAID, the State Department and their partners in preparing critical supplies to move forward this weekend."

>BASED Jethro Tull

>"""humanitarian aid"""
>inb4 little multicam men
>inb4 US pulls a Russia
Wouldnt be suprised desu

Nah, just a coincidence
However I do believe the utter shitstorms that have been constantly cluttering the airways over the past couple years is to distract people while the US investigates Russia as to help prevent any boogeyman shit we're doing in the Donbas from being unearthed

You are the type of person willing to condemn Venezuela to 30 something more years of poverty, terror and crime than look back and say "at least it's not a right wing dictator"

Absolutely, user. Because the only two options are Maduro or Pinochet. Nothing in between.

bongo bongo HE don’t want to leave the Congo
get your references straight

Venezuela was nice, people could get food and toilet paper no prob.
then Chavez was elected and supported because he was ‘brown’ like most citizens.
country goes to shit, commies and socs NEVER leave after elected first time

Won't the shutdown keep them from welfare?

>lost air force

No he didn't? It was one administration officer who defected lmao

Call me when there are battalion+ level defections going on
