Eh, I prefer to not talk politics, but I don't really even disagree with you. I don't think there is an inconsistency in saying that you don't want your own government to violate it's own people's Constitutionally protected rights while also swearing an oath to said Constitution and fighting the "enemies of the nation" overseas. Whether or not the war or occupying a foreign people after that war is over is justified is a legitimate question however. I don't know, I'm just a grunt. I think the real war will be fought on our own soil someday.
