Thanks for supporting red flag confiscation laws and being bigger gun grabber than Obama

Despite the fact that the Obama administration approved the sale of bump fire stocks on at least two occasions, the National Rifle Association is calling on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) to immediately review whether these devices comply with federal law. The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semi-automatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations.

Join the NRA with a discount and then join the GOA, SAF, and the biggest local group in your state.
What you'd spend on a good day at the range can help fund 2a groups for a whole year.

I'm not a fan of them but if the NRA wasn't around you would see far fewer ranges, far fewer sports shooting events, and the left would lose its main boogeyman, giving them time and money to go after organizations that actually matter.

You forgot the NRA

I’ll restate.
NO politician is worried about ANY 2A organization except the NRA.
Support more than one if you like. Get assmad about bumpstocks you never wanted anyway. But the organization that is noticed at election time is the NRA.
Every other choice dilutes our voice. But lefties like you know that.

What's amazing is that the few "liberal gun owners" I know keep screaming that "not all democrats are anti-gun!" every chance they get, but they all consistently vote for the gun grabbers every election.

Idiots and snakes, all of them.

No. He didn't.

Worrying politicians doesn't get rights back. Fighting court cases does and the NRA doesn't do that.

Getting politicians elected does. Who do you think puts the judges on the bench, dumbass?

>NO politician is worried about ANY 2A
Of course not The NRA supports and is responsible for most gun control laws we have now

Shit as they are not supporting the NRA is like cutting off your nose to spite your face. You're delusional if you think we would have been better off with a demoshit winning any of those elections.

2016 fucked us all

We were better with Obama than we would have if Romney had won. He would have banned ARs nationwide just like he did in MA

I hope you're talking about commercial ublock and not origin.

>not supporting the NRA is like cutting off your nose to spite your face
Besides memberships I also actually donate to the individual lawsuits when I can, The NRA isn't as active as GOA or FPC and I don't need a free hat

That is one of the more stupid posts I’ve ever seen.

Only a gin grabbing leftist would advocate weakening support for tje NRA.

Absolutely delusional.

It was Romney who banned assault weapons not Obama

Obama's Gun Record Basically Consists Of Expanding Gun Owners' Rights

The Christian Science Monitor ran a very interesting piece in September comparing Barack Obama and Mitt Romney's gun control records.
In making that comparison, CSM pointed out Obama has only ever signed laws expanding gun owners' rights. One of those pro-gun laws took effect in February 2010 and allows people to carry loaded firearms into the Grand Canyon and other national parks, according to the AP.

Paul Helmke, who was at the time president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, said national parks were the safest spots in American but guns could change that. The other major pro-gun law Obama signed allows Amtrak passengers to carry guns in checked baggage, reversing a ban that was put in place after 9/11, according to USA Today.

In addition to signing pro-gun laws, the Chicago Tribune has pointed out, Obama also failed to make good on a campaign promise to close a loophole that let some people buy guns without background checks.

It's not so shocking then that the Brady Campaign gave Obama an F in January 2010.

"we need a broader discussion on violence in America"

if you think that quote is weakening the NRA you might want to take it up with that cocaine smuggler they have as president, it's from their video

A Republican held House, and later on a Republican held House and Senate cockblocking him at every turn isn't the same thing as "omg Obama was totally good for us guys, let's never vote Republican or donate to the biggest gun lobby in the world!"

All you reddit niggers need to go back.

>A Republican held House, and later on a Republican held House and Senate cockblocking him at every turn
Id rather have some one who couldn't get impossible to achieve gun control than someone who they will give a pass to. This is exactly why Romney would have been worse

So is this your excuse for Trump too?

>Id rather have some one who couldn't get impossible to achieve gun control than someone who they will give a pass to.
I'd rather have someone that's beholden to my donation money and organizations that I support.
That's precisely why I'd rather have a Republican in office before a Democrat, even if they are mostly spineless faggots.

>This is exactly why Romney would have been worse
Romney is a spineless neocon like every other neocon. If he stabs gun owners in the back on a national level he's at their mercy. Mass was a shit show prior to his tenure and only shows he's willing to keep the status quo to stay in office.
Why are you eager to support someone who openly gets funded by organizations that work against your interests?

>So is this your excuse for Trump too?
Trump is a C+ at best but nominates Pro-Constitutionalist SCOTUS picks. The makeup of the Supreme Court is more important than any Executive Order, Executive Orders that can be reversed just as quickly as they came mind you.
Do you want a Hilldawg in office who actively campaigns on AWB 2.0 and 2, possibly even 3 lifetime liberal activist SCOTUS appointments? Because that's what you get if you vote Democrat.

>The makeup of the Supreme Court is more important than any Executive Order
Absolutely, SCOTUS was everything, once we get RBG replaced he will be all but useless. And now we have attorney general to worry about. WTF? Why is he setting the deck with gun grabbers? I dont like where this is going one damn bit.

Is anyone else getting tired of Jow Forums getting raided by Jow Forumsliberalgunowners? Its the exact same argument every single time, "Democrats are actually GOOD for gun owners because Republicans can just block any legislation!" While completely ignoring the fact that its possible for Dems to win the Senate eventually and ram through an AWB. Or that more and more blue states are passing oppressive firearm laws like Oregon and Washington. Jow Forums is experiencing the same thing, Tulsi Gabbard is heavily shilled there despite the fact that she is anti-wall and pro-AWB.

reminder that three letter groups you pay are for lazy cucks who cant take an hour a week typing up emails to all and any politicians. if you truly want YOUR voice heard, dont just toss in your hat with a faceless org
boomers are still retarded

yes but we need tulsi shilled bc liberals cant stand an actual democrat instead of hillary and will never elect her

>Is anyone else getting tired of Jow Forums getting raided by Jow Forumsliberalgunowners?

The NRA is useful, but only fudd boomers and cuckservatives don't realize how many issues they've """compromised""" and caved in on. GCA, they acted like fucking liberal gun grabbers with their appeal to purity, about how "no sane american" will oppose the GCA of 1968 they pushed. Then, in order to relax restrictions on the GCA THEY ENDORSED and were so decided on, they fucked civvies out of new transferable MGs by compromising with the hughes amendment of 1986 (part of the Firearm Owner's Protection Act).

1988, they compromised on the Undetectable Handgun Act, by using the Glock 17 as the standard for banning guns with less than half the metal content of it (or if they don't fit other requirements, obviously pocket pistols and mouseguns aren't banned). Not really that bad, but obviously seemed motivated by their intention of keeping the Glocks they endorse, legal.

And in 2017, these fuckers released a joint statement about how bump stocks that let semi-autos fire like full-autos, should be regulated, even though the ATF already deemed them to not be machineguns years ago (during OHBUMMER'S term, so it's his fault!!!). The NRA obviously isn't literally hitler, but they're mostly motivated by money and often make less than savory decisions for gun rights, and people should always be wary of them. So before you people freak out about shareblue CTR shills, the frustration with the NRA that some people show has some merit and history to it.

Ok, cool blog. That doesn't change the fact that you aren't offering any legitimate solutions. The reason why people who cry about Trump the NRA come off as shills is because the alternatives (literally any Democrat) are a hundred times worse than Trump. Literally every primary candidate has voiced support for an AWB. Worse, Tulsi and Biden are the only remotely sane people even running. Harris, Booker and Gillibrand are all soulless Clinton clones, but even worse since they're trying to appeal to the progressive SJW wing of the party even harder. Bernie might stand a chance but the Dem establishment hates him and Twitter is shilling against him hard. The Democratic Party honestly needs to be destroyed, it's gone completely off the rails and the corporate bootlicker Clinton wing is in civil war with the radical demsoc wing. Trump isn't a great president at all but its him or the US turning into Argentina.

>you aren't offering any legitimate solutions
Don't give a cent to the NRA, give money to other 2nd amendment groups

I signed up for one of those Cabellas cards. They didn't give me the card, but they did give me a hat for signing up.

2012*
The world ended in 2012 and we’re not supposed to be in this timeline

they vote dem but feel shitty about it. They really wish there was an otherwise progressive party that was still pro-freedom, and vote dem because they dont see voting for republicans worth it.

At least on their sub, they advise each other not to move to red states just because they have better gun laws, since they will accidentally move the state blue and anti-gun.

I hate liberals, but fudd boomers are worse

How helpful is $240 a year though?

Dems are mostly anti-gun because of Jewish billionaire donations (eg Bloomberg) and because brown and black people are scared of guns because they never grew up around them (and are solidly Democratic voting blocks)

If you actually browsed r/liberalgunowners you would know that

The boomer right are not your friends, they care more about cucking for Israel and corporations than they are about preserving freedom

>banning guns with less than half the metal content of it
based NRA protecting the consumers from buying trash

>Ok, cool blog.
Sorry but those are the facts, as far as the democrat thing, I had more gun rights under Obama for 8yrs than just 2yrs of Trump.

Even Obama never tried to amend the NFA to include a device just so it could be banned, this is some top level gun grabbing shit that leaves the door open for what is a rate of fire for a semi automatic firearm, but Trump is too fucking stupid to see this, Im more afraid of what he will do if re-elected and he has nothing to lose.

>but its him or the US turning into Argentina.
Instead of what? The way it's going now? Why take the slow death that is being shoved down our throats? Just maybe, if they just banned all firearms then people might be willing to fight. We already have millions who wont comply with mag bans in NJ, registration in CT and not one bump stock has bee turned in in FL. You think we will just hand over our guns if they say so? I'd rather light this bitch a blaze than be slowly smothered by the likes of the NRA

>intentionally forgetting import bans because cheeto man banned a piece of plastic

Sanctions are not bans, all my Norinco ammo and AKs are not illegal to own, but a bump stock is a felony

No politicians even give a shit about the GOA. Like or not, the NRA is the only group with any actual pull.

>Donate us 30$ and we'll give you a free hat

>based nra for fudding out on 3d printed guns

Yea, they really pulling for red flag confiscation orders. I bet they pull for banning binary triggers next

>No politicians even give a shit about the GOA
Dont forget Firearms Policy Coalition

WhitakerCase.com

Summary: FPC v. Whitaker is a federal constitutional, statutory, and APA challenge to the DOJ/ATF ban on "bump-stock" devices brought President Trump's ban on "bump stock" devices by executive fiat

Arguments:

The President’s Designation of Matthew Whitaker Violated the Constitution's Appointments Clause
The President unconstitutionally assigned the Attorney General’s responsibilities to a non-officer
The President’s designation of Mr. Whitaker violated the Appointments Clause because he is serving as a principal officer
The Government’s arguments defending Mr. Whitaker’s service under the Appointments Clause are non-responsive
Applying the canon of constitutional avoidance, the Vacancies Act is fairly read not to give the President the power to appoint a non-confirmed official in these circumstances
The AG Act automatically designates the Deputy Attorney General as the Acting Attorney General
The Government’s contrary arguments are unpersuasive

Plaintiffs: Firearms Policy Coalition

Defendants: Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, ATF Acting Director Thomas Brandon, United States of America

Why do ShareBlue shills forget about Operation Flashpoint and Obama using the ATF and IRS to go after gun shops and political opponents? Remember FPSRussia? What about Fast and Furious? Obama was a horrible president, the media just hid everything he did.

Didn't say he was great, but he's not the one who just made 520,000 law abiding bump stock owners felons who along with their families and friends are a little pissed off and old enough to vote.

>Join NRA for the +1 to their large memership count

The NRA gets shit done by going to politicians and going "look at our membership count, it would be a shame if someone told them to not vote for you." The GOA gets shit done by going to court and actually fighting against unconstitutional laws.
