The INSAS looks like an AK with rivets everywhere. It uses a short-stroke gas piston like the FNC. The charging handle is in the same awkward position like on the G3. The sights are inspired by the Galil’s sights.

5.45 pufgun I have is metal reinforced lugs I have only loaded and fired it once. It did great. This new 7.62x39 I got yesterday and havent shot only loaded. I don't use a loader.
7.62x39 seems better built on left

Hey man, I see you're running a Strela brake on your full size AK. Are you having any problems with it being overgassed?
Anyone else running a Strela? I'd like to put one on my SLR-106FR in conjunction with my ALG High Energy Recoil spring because I do a lot of hog hunting at night. And while the AK74 brake is great -- still blinds me at night. Any opinions would be appreciated.

You wanting to put a sf on the Saiga .308? I had one a few years ago, if I remember right the front trunnion clearance on the underside is gonna make the latch tricky. Might need to use a s12 front latch, unless I’m remembering totally wrong. I’d definitely go with a 5.5 pin trunnion (100 series) with the .308 recoil—might not be necessary but it’d give a little extra peace of mind.

The 107r line has had some issues with iffy metallurgy in the last year.
If you're not worried about the gun folding, at that pricepoint the WBP Fox rifles are getting good press and don't have trunnions that chip apart.

I mean if you want an AK with a side-folding stock, then you should buy an Arsenal 107fr. If you want a fixed-stock AK the 107r doesn't have a great track-record in the year-or-so it's been out.

I had one of those side folder adapters on my bubba'd saiga, wasn't happy with the the wobble and lack of adjustability so I switched back to the zhukov.
yeah zhukovs wouldn't hold up to conscripts in extreme temperatures, but their durability is acceptable for range use and their adjustability is unparalleled.
if something better comes to market I'll buy it, but for my uses (shooting groups and teaching noobs to shoot) the zhukov is unbeatable.
