I carried a Stainless MINI 14 folder with 30 or 40 round magazines in South Africa for years until the local Commando Gave us R4's at the time they were the best guns for portability and ease of carry on Patrol. I also had a FN-R1 which was just a beast and not easy to deploy from a vehicle, but it had that .308 firepower. I will always have a soft spot for the mini it held up well to everything the bush gave it. I still have 3
a Black Folder, SS Target model, regular ranch and a Stainless Mini 30.
