The SU-57 looks much more aesthetic than the F-22, but it makes me wonder why the fuck didn't they cover up the engines

So this is the peak of american humour?

>why the fuck didn't they cover up the engines
user I encourage you to submit your stealth 3D TVC nozzle design to the nearest embassy.

>MUH F-22
why you retards obsess about russians because your jew media fills your low IQ brains with nonsense, you've been conquered by unarmed, uneducated, low IQ people and will end up living in ghettos soon.

Maybe so, but the F-22 is still the greatest fighter jet ever made. That said, the Ruskies have some good stuff too, the MiG-31 is pretty damn great considering it's still got vacuum tubes in it.

They did. The fuck are you taking about, retard?

Not according to what photos show. Keep your fairy world to yourself.

see Not my post btw, so you are the only delusional faggot here with that opinion, Ivan.

>Backpedaling this hard

Did you switch up some posts, because it aint making any sense.

What's not making any sense is your lack of argumentation. You'd think a grown up man would have some sense of logic, but apparently this doesn't apply to amerishit manbaby clowns on Jow Forums.

>posting Grey Ghost
We've been over this countless of times, vatnik.
The Grey Ghost used crude and open air ducts, not at all like what was drawn on the blueprints. It was WAY ahead of the production run PAK-FA though. Always fun to remember that a 20 year old, rejected US prototype was better than what russia can muster today.

Its okay, Ivan. Everyone knows you are so buttmad that you cant even make sense or form anything logical anymore like you just displayed.

You were the one saying neither is bad, but at the same time you are ignoring that one is noticeably worse. So much for logic and arugements. You are just in the regular butthurt russian delusion state, where you think you can just spam insults and act like you are right makes you win anything.

>Always fun to remember that a 20 year old, rejected US prototype was better than what russia can muster today.
And if it werent for the vatnik dementia helping to bring it back to surface every week, people probaly would have forgotten about it a long time ago.

>We've been over this countless of times
Indeed we've been, amerishit. The blueprint of F-23A shows the engine blades are visible from the front. Deal with it and let it go.

>t. only person that thinks this way and always had been alone with this

Provide me with a single source ever over the course of the program or after its completion suggesting it was not chosen because of inadequate stealth performance, amerishit clown. Come on, fag, give it a try. I'll wait.

>t. refuses to accept what is clearly visible of the blueprint
In contrary to what your brainwashing post-modernist onions-infested modern culture tells you, facts are not subjective even if you gather enough retards to deny them. the earth is not flat, gender is grammatical sex and the engine blades of F-23A were visible from the front. Deal with it, degenerate socialist retard.

>one is noticeably worse
Not according to what photos show. Keep your fairy world to yourself.

If the mind of the vatnik wasn't so crippled by malnutrition and krokodil, it would see that the very image it posted refutes his statement.

That is classified info and you know it vatnik. What we do know is that the F-22 was chosen.

Armatard, you seriously need to go to a medical doctor already, you are having another manical episode like so many times before, you repeat your delusions no one is agreeing with over and over again, not even people who should be on your side on this with you.

You are always alone. Get help already, this aint good for you, this would be not good for anyone. Go on, show everyone how insane you are by puking out the next typical post of yours with the typical fake confidence and insults. In the end it has no meaning for anyone and you are still alone.

>Straight up denying the fucking blueprint and admitting he doesn't have a single piece of evidence behind his bullshit
My job here is done.

Attached: scientific american.png (400x528, 361K)

You need to see a doctor, that is your job here. Get your head fixed, for your own good.

How much time have you wasted away already with this nonsense? And for what? Some petty self declared victories that have no value? And in the end you are just alone with your own problems again.

Trying to debate a vatnik regarding that particular blueprint is like trying to debate a book with an illiterate retard. You obviously can't read the blueprint like how a retard can't read a book and you like the retard is severely mentally impaired.

The fact that you're continuously projecting about this only reaffirms my belief that you're an obsessed schizophreniac.

Attached: sheezeeque.jpg (200x200, 5K)

You are the person that is obsessed and always alone with his opinions, you could accept that for once instead of going for your typical defense mechanism of pointing fingers at others with your projections.

You are always alone, that will never go away until you get help.

The straight airducts notwithstanding, there are plenty more stealth failures in the PAK-FAil to laugh about.

In what imaginary world do Russian jets have missile warning systems that actually work?

>a prototype is a prototype
When is it getting its ROFAR, GaN AESA and plasma stealth then? I was told that it would have all of these.

The SU-57 isnt getting a photonic radar and plasma stealth. It will however receive a GaN version of the N036 which for now is just regular GaA.

Besides, plasma stealth cant be used on a plane that needs to communicate and use its radar. Photonic radar is something for 5.5/6th gen stuff, not 5th gen.

The U.S. is practically an Israeli client state. Every president is required to pay homage to the Western wall wearing a skull cap and the U.S. is trying to pass a law to make it illegal for Americans to boycott Israeli products. American foreign policy is to a large to degree shaped by Israeli foreign policy.

Thats probably true lol, but its a fact you cant use that to say anything about the USA
because russia is equally if not more kiked, just not by traditional jewish rituals but my modern banker kikes

That's Jow Forums for you. At least on pol and int you have actual funny banter. Here it's just the most boring and childish shitposting. Jow Forums has no sense of humour nor self-control.

okay sperg

What are the small intake-looking holes under the tail fins?

>What's so fucking hard to understand about the golden rule: do not reply

My guess, it is ram air ducts for cooling avionics or something else.

>he thinks those are turbine blades

Wait really? Why?

Those are parallel to airflow and not a blur (i.e. not moving while the aircraft is clearly in flight)
I don't believe they are part of the engine fan disk
probably some kind of airflow smoothing system

Imagine a day in the life of armatard. You wake up, living in a western country instead of the sweet sweet motherland. You begin to sweat as the withdrawal from Krokidil, vodka, Jow Forums, and tigers kicks in. "Today I will show the imbeciles!" The phone rings, it's your mother reminding you to take your schizo meds. BLYAT echoes as you stare down at the bottle. You log into Jow Forums while RT reminds you that Russia is indeed the greatest nation on earth... the medicine merely a long forgotten footnote.

Go argue that to Trident or Snufflebug at key forum pub.

>RCS of a bird
Where'd this claim come from? Looks like I'll have to dig into mongoloid runes to find the real claims being made in Russia.

Also that's still worse than the F-22, 20 years later.

>2238 t/r modules
So basically you count the cheek arrays as part of the main array, and fuck up the math too? The N036 has 1552 T/R modules on the main array. It's okay, not everything Russian needs to have a bigger number than its American counterpart.

>muh IRST and suspicious detection range claims

read and weep qr.ae/TUnVfE RCS claims change over time just like the F-35.

>So basically you count the cheek arrays as part of the main array, and fuck up the math too?

These modules are used to jam as well besides its own EW suit

SU-57 will still see the F-22 1st because of IRST

Trying to detect a .002-.0005m2 target along with the fact that your radars signals are being suppressed. You do not even have to do the math to realize its IRST system will identify the F-22 1st.

>quora quoting an article that just quotes "experts" followed by a massive amount of loose speculation on the size of the bird
Quality source you have there.

The main array and the cheek arrays don't overlap. You can only count them individually.

>IRST works first
Unless IRST has reliable and consistent ~80+ km detection range this isn't going to happen. Detection range of IRST is highly variable, depending on altitude, aircraft orientation and so on.

>radars signals are being suppressed
In that case you're talking about engagement ranges and not detection. IRST isn't this magical system, it has its own limitations and shitloads of variability. The Su-57 might detect a F-22 at a huge range or might struggle to do anything at short range. In any scenario where that range isn't advantageous, the F-22 will have the upper hand due to superior stealth and comparable radar (I'm being nice here, the F-22 has almost 50% more T/R modules).

>50%
Not 50%, 25%, my bad.

exit ports of the GSh-301 cannon.

>vacuum tubes
>Are you intellectually challenged?
But it does use vacuum tubes for some parts.

as in spent casing ejection ports? Or that's where the barrels are? Do aircraft even use ammo with casings anymore? I know tanks use caseless nowadays

>The main array and the cheek arrays don't overlap. You can only count them individually.

Can use modules for reception and using waves on the entire body

>Detection range of IRST is highly variable, depending on altitude, aircraft orientation and so on.

35kms is the range for OLS-35 for front only OLS-50 goes further.

> the F-22 will have the upper hand due to superior stealth and comparable radar

Its radar has a more limited range than the SU-57s IRST. 1m2 at 400km you can go ahead and do the calculations for .002m2 and .0005m2(not counting the new metal oxide paintings increasing the absorption of waves twice), Jamming further reduces this range. And the radar at this point is more limited.

Having a higher module count doesnt really say much, SU-36 has 1500 modules with a max power of 20kw just like the F-22. The wattage rating for the modules on the SU-57 can be higher.

They can interact some, but detection range should only count main array.
Those IRST ranges are only ideal cases, in most cases they will be less- but there will be circumstances where IRST would detect first.
F-22 will have better stealth, and likely better signal analysis for the radar, but those will be comparable. The 57 will likely have situational awareness advantage if the sensors integrate information well- cheek radars, thermal sensors, excellent all-round missile detection and ECM, and helmet cuing make a hell of a difference.
Module count is a huge factor in radar performance, it and wattage are the best description of the potential of the antenna.
I generally consider the Su-57 better than most I hear talking about it do, but no need to make the IRST and cheek radars out to be a bonus to detection range in all conditions.

>for reception
>using waves on the entire body
Do you even know what you're talking about? The cheek arrays can't broadcast signals for the main array. They cover the sides independently. They aren't in an appropriate position to receive or process anything decent for the main array.

>35km for OLS-35
Under what conditions? Against what target exactly? Throwing numbers around like this is meaningless.

The F-22 array has a higher count of T/R modules. The reason the Su-35 has higher power is that it's using a PESA, which allows it to have high PEAK power. This means that for a few seconds or less it can have much higher power than it would have under normal conditions, but this isn't a constant value of the radar. The Su-57 won't have a PESA and won't have the same ability, so yes, the T/R count does have an impact. Also those range values are an estimation, we don't know the real values, but we do know the Su-35 radar can detect up to 3m^2 at 400 km from official sources. That's probably at peak power too.

Finally, you're still using those retarded numbers like they're real. Again, all we got is an article claiming some "experts" said it had the RCS of a bird without even being more specific, and some guys on the internet decided to pick some arbitrary values from there. And now, despite the lack of serrated edges and loads of stealth features, the coating is going to make it comparable to stealth aircraft that have these features? Sure thing there lad.
